Nope, I had emailed her about something else and asked about the open house as well. She said it'd be an e-vite.

I just met with Kristy yesterday (we had to drop off our second payment (yikes!) and we went over our time line-it is getting so close...She Mentioned that the tasting event is the 25th and that they may break the event into two sessions. The evites are going out soon!

So I saw a post by blue tulip about themes and I though it would be cool for each of us to describe the themes of our weddings.

We are doing a Shell theme.

All the tables are names after shells, and the placecards are going to have a sand dollar on them. The sand dollar is a main item. We are having seashell candy served with dinner (bringing our own).

We had a sandollar motif on the invites, sand dollar on the programs, Sandollar on the table cards and place cards.

Great Idea!

Our theme is 'Old New York'. Very glam, ya know when the Hamptons was a big deal, and when people read the society column in the paper. We are incorporating things that are very NY, like black and white cookies, apples, the yankees. Our table numbers will be pictures of us all over NY, in all of the popular spots, i.e empire state building, jones beach, montauk, statue of liberty. Our favors are black and white cookies, and baseballs. We are really just going super glam, tons of candles, loose orchids on the tables around the cp's, champagne passed on trays, small things like that.

I don't really have a theme-but I do have a color scheme-cornflower blue, white, with lavender and silver accents. Flowers will be hydrangea and tulips, with some roses mixed in. I'm trying to find a lavender flower so if anyone can help that would be great.

Love those who are going all out with a beach theme!

We weren't put into a group. The evite just said the event was from 2:30-5. Did you get a separate e-mail??

Nevermind, I figured out that for some girls the evite had an earlier time. I'm a little slow today.
