Not a CLM bride but went to Jen's wedding last night....all I can say is WOW....you will have nothing to worry about girls!

I second that. They treated me like a princess that day. FH and I could not be happier with them and all my guests were truly amazed.

Really not sure, but just ask CLM. They'll be able to help. They provide you with one if you need it though. Ceremony outside will be amazing, especially if you have nice weather like I did.

Re: Official Chateau La Mer '06 Thread!

hello girls! I went to CLM yesterday to show the place to my brother since I was close by at blackforest bakery and I saw something that worried me a bit...

I guess b/c of the tide all of the seaweed & moss came up to shore and it was filled in the water by the pier..not a pretty site at all--right where the ceremony is & the boat comes in

anyone ever see that there? I wonder if there is a way they remove it? clean it somehow not nice for pics... or guests as they look out intot he water?

any info. you can share????????

TIA!

The tide changes daily... hourly... so it all depends on how it is the day of your wedding. I don't remember any seaweed or anything in the water when we came off the boat! It will be fine... Dbleplay is right, it's nature!

Re: Official Chateau La Mer '06 Thread!

It was probably low tide when you went. Honestly, I don't remember any seaweed. And your guests won't either. It's probably going to be one of those things that you laugh about later becuase you're not even going to remember to check it out on your wedding day. Trust me. You'll have a beautiful day. I had my ceremony on the water and it was gorgeous. Everyone commented on how nice it was.

Well, we had the seaweed & it was pretty bad, but the pics still look beautiful!

I had a quick Q...did they let you light your votive placecards? Nick wouldn't let me

I'm not sure, we used real petals.
