We did our menu last week. He gave us Black Forest number & said they prefer we sit directly w/ them.

Re: rehearsal i THINK Amy said he ran through a quick rehearsal the day of the ceremony.

Hi ladies, i figured i would join in...im getting married in October. Does anyone know what the maximum # of people that fit in the downstairs room. Has anyone seen the new renovations?....As far as tipping...mine is in the contract as well but im sure your welcome to give more if you want depending on the service,. I hear that Nick is awesome!

i think it fits 300 people - not sure..

I spoke to Nick yesterday and asked if they provide the bathroom baskets with all the suff in them and he said no. So are you girls going to put together a bathroom basket? Or is it not necessary?

Hey girls I was at CLM last night (for menus) and the floor was being put down in the CH room!!! It looked great!!! It will be done for a wedding Friday night!!

We were with Nick tonight going over the menus and floorplan.. the cocktail room is looking goergeous with all the marble and the floor, they were getting ready to put the carpet down tonight...menue finally chosen..yay!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to put one together. I think it's useful. Ladies get headaches, or run out of pads/ tampons, get a run in their stockings. I want them to be able to still enjoy themselves. I'm just going to buy a basket at AC Moore or something and throw some things in.

Yea we're going to do a bathrm basket as well--although not sure on the slippers, we'll see.

The floor sounds great in CH room! Is there going to be carpet or all marble?

We're just staying at the Bar Harbour Best Western w/ our guests..we figure by the time we get there at 12:45/1am we'll be too beat to enjoy the plushness/luxuries of another room (Garden City, etc.)
