Nick will contact you regarding your menus. We went in Feb for our May wedding so I'm guess you'll have to do yours in May. I'm not really sure about the park, sorry!

Jen, its about 8 blocks from our apt. If you continue EAST on Montauk Hwy about 1/4 mile, then make a right on Venetian Pkwy (or Granada) and take that straight a mile right to the water. No fee or anything. You can actually see CLM in the distance from there. Word to the wise though they opened a water park for the kids last year so it might be kinda crowded.

Second, at the Anniversary party Nick told FH & I we'd be getting a call 'in the next few weeks' to plan our menu/cake for July. So it seems like around the 3 month mark you'll hear.

Also, kinda freaky but I had a dream about Nick last night!

We're taking pics before our ceremony at the beach/boardwalk in Long Beach and then to some gardens (the arboretum maybe...sp?) that my photog suggested. So we'll have 2 different spots for pics, then some at CLM on the dock after the ceremony. HOPEFULLY it's a nice day, if it's raining we're going to old westbury gardens for indoor pics.

Is there a fee for old westbury gardens?? i havent looked into it, but it is by my church.. they have an indoor spot???

Yes, there is a fee (can't remember exactly) for OWB and they do have indoor places to take pics. We booked it for peace of mind b/c if it rains there are no great indoor spots at CLM to take pics!! And OWB is amazing.

Yea... I hate saying this, but what's another $300 at this point.

I was just thinking that if we had a day like it was on saturday (continuous rain all day) then i'd be so bummed that I didn't have an indoor location for pics!

I did my food selection months ago. But I'm going tomorrow to pick out our menus and ice sculpture design since we just decided that we want CLM to do our menus.

LADIES,

The chapel is done. I went there today and Nick showed me. He asked if I could take pictures to post on LIW, but I didn't have a camera with me. Cin, you said you were going on Wednesday. Can you bring your camera? I'm sure all the ladies would love to see. The Chairs weren't set up but the room was completely finished and it is gawgeous.

Actually, Nick has nothing to do with the cake, unless he specifically told you that he would pick it out with you. You should meet with Black Forest directly. I made an appointment with Tom directly and just told him I was from CLM. I don't know if you can just walk in, but maybe when you are at CLM, Nick can call him to get you in. Anwyay, you should have an idea of what you want and bring pictures. But Tom has books of actual cakes as well. We were able to find the one I printed from the internet in his sample batch. He will also tell you all the combinations of base cake, fillings, and frostings.
