someone mentioned that you can call and ask for tastings. When I met with Tom, he said he would make us a mini-cake a few weeks before the wedding so we can see what our combo tastes like. We picked a chocolate cake with cherries and mouse filling. Yummy!

Yes, call up CLM and ask for Nick. He'll tell you when the next taste-testing is and you'll be able to taste the food. You'll love the food; it's awesome and so is Nick.... very helpful.

you must go to the bakery if you dont like the cake in CLMs books, and if you want a taste, however I know Black Forrest hasnt been very earger to give anyone a tasting. Their cake came out awesome but when dealing with them (Tom I think) he was quite rude.

I went on this past Sunday and selected menu. Here's an update on CLM's constructions (I've posted on another thread):

1. I like the new bridal suite. It's got granite floor and very spacious.

2. The altar isn't finished yet but, I think it'll be beautiful based on Lou's description of the floor plan and interior design.

3. Cocktail Hour room – new crown moldings, carpet.. looks good.

The CH room looks awesome. The new carpetsare supposed to be there this week but the crown moldings and lights on the ceiling look so pretty and the white columns are gone.

I peeked into the chapel room from the outside when I was there on Saturday for the Anniversary Party. They are no where near done, but at least the walls are up.
