Re: Official Chateau La Mer '06 Thread!
Does anyone know how many people maximum fit around the dance floor? I want to avoid piling too many people up in the back of the room if I can fit them up front. I am also having a band and a DJ, and I'm afraid that will take up even more room!

Re: Official Chateau La Mer '06 Thread!
wow a band and a DJ! Hmmm I had about 125 and I think I had 3 or 4 tables in the back with about 8 people each so you can probably fit about 100 up front and on the sides.

Wow!!!Clm looks beautiful. I made an appt to see Nick tomorrow evening. They are also having a food tasting tomorrow. Looking for fall 2007 date.Question. Do you know if they would be able to substitute lobster tail for an entree. I don't mind paying a little extra but wanted to know if you thought CLM was flexible?
Thanks

Re: Official Chateau La Mer '06 Thread!
I was at CLM on saturday to give our final payment and we (my dad, FH, his parents and me) sat on the dock for a half hour afterwards and got to see the bride & groom come in on the yacht!!! It was awesome! They got on the boat and had some champagne and took a VERY slow ride around the bay then came in and all the guests were cheering for them.ETA: I hope we have a nice day so we can do that!

I guess for CH centerpieces it'll just be whatever they provide...

We did our table seating last night!! Did anyone else have trouble with this in the downstairs ballroom??? I LOVE how the room is set up, but it was really hard to do the seating and have the BP and parents tables near us. We got it all figured out but it took a while!

I wouldn't worry about the CH. Nobody will notice CP settings. They are too buys chowing down and figuring out what table they are on for the reception. I didn't do these.

Hi! Having a hard time with seating in the downstairs room too! How did everyone slip bride/groom family? Any input would help.

Re: Official Chateau La Mer '06 Thread!
i havent dont my seating chart.. but i figure my BM and friends will be up and about more than family.. so our immediate fam will be on either side and then the bridal party and friends will be after..also - other friends and college friends will be back by the bar.. other family members close to the dance floor.. i figure they would be up as much as the friends.. plus - friends will be drinking more..

The seating was hard for us, but we finally figured it out! It's so hard to explain what we did on here... but i'll try. If you're looking at the seating chart Len & I were in the right corner by the last set of windows (where they usually sit the bride/groom) on the right. Then the two tables to the left of us (if you're looking at us) were the bridal party (one right on the dance floor and one behind). Next to them were my mom's 3 family tables. On the other side of us (near the door) were Len's 3 family tables. My dad's 3 family tables were directly across the dance floor (he didn't mind and had a great view of us) and the friends tables took up the rest.
Hopefully that made sense. Do you have a scanner? If so you can scan your seating in that nick gave you and i can tell you where we sat everyone!
