i've posted a question to past duet brides in another thread coz fh had a question about the video, but after meeting with them again today, we are convinced that they will do a wonderful job so we booked them...i am so happy about this decision...thanks to everyone for all those posts that led us to see duet...

everyone is correct in saying that they are very easy to talk to...

We had an appointment with Duet yesterday (our first photography appointment). Littlecat I think they showed us a signed poster of you guys. And 2003OCT10 I believe they showed us a picture from your wedding B&W with colored rose petals. They were both amazing pictures, and they made me feel more confident seeing familiar faces. Put us on the list cause we booked on the spot!

YUP THAT WAS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THAT SHOT!!!

With all this talk about Duet, i made an appoiment to check it out. The only other place i've looked is ViewPoint Photography. They are in Huntington Station. I thouhgt it was worth it until i realized adding everything adds up, i ran out of funds

Hopefully, i'll be in luck tomorrow. Can someone FM me with prices so i know what to expect? Thanks

I'm on my way for an appointmen there this Tuesday.. I cannot wait, its my TOP choice and I've heard such raves about it on LIWeddings... I was just excited they were still available on my date at such late notice!

I'll keep you posted if I sign up (I'm 99.9% certain I will!)

PS: heard the rates went up as of Jan. 1, 2004 (I knew I should have tried to get there b/f the end of '03!) Anything to be worried about?

Its official!! I booked Duet on Friday, and they told me I was their first bride to book them in 2004. From what I've heard, prices have gone up but the price was still lower than what I thought I'd have to bargain for. They threw in a whole bunch of extras, including an extra parent album, extra dvd, a grandparents folio, the uneditied master copy of the video, extra thank you's, the negatives... I was amazed!!! They were the only place I went to, and I don't regret it at all!!!

2003OCTBride: I saw that pic when I was there, and I remember oohing at it!! It came out so nicely!!! Thats so cool! I also saw Littlecat's thank you. It was kind of weird saying that I had seen her pix, and they asked if I knew her, I said no. Kind of funny!
