oh ok yes I just recently went to one there about 2 weeks ago. It was fun but get there early because it gets crowded really fast. I took my girlfriend and stayed about an hour, but I hate when so many people are around me that I had to leave.

Lisa- Glad to hear things went well at JT!

I too was at the last Showcase (in Nov) and was even at the one in Sept! I told you all, I am addicted to JT! I may be at the one in Jan, even if it's just for the free hors 'douvres (sp?)

Hi everyone,
I havent posted in awhile... But I just found out that the person I delt with at JT got FIRED! He was a real jerk, and we wound up booking Woodbury Country Club instead of JT because of him.

I went to Pedastals the day that we booked the hall, they gave us an outrageous price for 14 tables and for the bridal party. They said that roses right after valentines could not be done totally (there would have to be other flowers incorporated and even with that they quoted us $2800. I don't think so.

hey JT girls...

so, vinny, my BM called yesterday to throw in shrimp to my day affair for 5 bucks.

i told him we are looking at night now and that we found a place at around 75. so he now offered the deluxe menu for march 4th with a shrimp boat thing.

edited to say that the price before tax/grat would be $80.

kinda interested, but to add on chair covers (which FT will give me free) its still over 100 (inclusive) which we really didn't want to do. Plus the fact that they don't have the date we really like (March 25th).

If i could either get him down to 75 or throw in something else (chair covers - i know this is impossible) or something then MAYBE. I would do march 11th but he only gave me that price for march 4th.

We are waiting for FT's price on surf-turf. But I am really concerned about FT's room for 350 in their tiny cocktail hour room. Anyone been there that can support OR alleviate that concern?

Anything else I can do to make JT more attractive to Fiance? I think I may take our mothers to both places to figure it out. Such a shame that they don't have the date we want!

I don't know. He specifically said 'if you do march 4th, I can give you this price'

I told him I'd check with FI who at this point is so captivated with FT that I can't get him to think logically. He also is captivated with march 25th. :(

I'm going to hold off and think about it for a day and see if they can do better or throw more in or something (and also go to march 11th - we don't want the 18th and he wouldn't go down for 4/1).

leese...I don't know if this makes any difference to you but March 25th is Good Friday... if you have guests that are Christian they may be offended... and maybe that has something to do with them telling you march 4th

i think that easter is april 16th next year.

i talked to my priest and he said that i could put flowers on the altars...no probs. just not in the sanctuary part (so no flowers to mary). seriously has no affect on me.

um, can we get back to the vinny part? i just met with a vinny....that would be weird!
