Hey guys! I was able to negotiate with Lands end and got them down to 160$/ per person with a 185 guarantee.

It's not much, but I think you should probably be able to get 10 or so dollars off.

I am getting married next month...its hard to imagine that the prices have jumped that much! I can't believe what I am paying for 06..besides what you guys are going to be forking out!

I checked out Vanderbilt Mansion in Oakdale...here is the pricing

Standard Site Fee $2500 for a saturday
$1500 for a Fri or Sun

Peak months may-oct $129 per person for a Saturday Nite-140 minimum

Off Peak Nov-April $109 per person for a Saturday Nite-140 minimum

extras like chocolate fountain, to sushi bar, to caviar station were all extra. each extra was an additional 4-15 dollars per person.

Plus ur standard 18% service charge and Tax!

CLM i am keeping my mouth shut because I dont want anyone to take my spot IoI I want that day but be warned they want 1,000 at signing and $1,000 paid every two months for a total of 5,000 deposit full payment i think is to be made 14 days prior....so FH and I are saving up to book our date.

Every other place was around 500-1,000 depo and full payment 14-7 days prior

For March
Went to the Bellport Country Club. it was 85 for a sat and 90 for a sunday (anytime u can start) one wedding at a time, great selection, table linen & flowers, cake included.

I would of booked it on the spot by FH was not happy going in to it or leaving it. So I have to back off.

I really say for everyone to check it out, i heard plenty of good things about it.

Same owners as the Irish Coffee House in E. Islip.

Jan. and Feb. typically fall near March prices. However, I was looking for Dec 19 of 08 and got some insane prices because of the holiday parties for companies. So I would think that JAN and Feb would go towards March which I am now having my wedding in! IRISH ALL THE WAY!
