I am pushing to do the ceremony outdoors but of course if its freezing or raining then indoors will be fine. Two more weeks and we can book. THANK GOD!!!

140 something dollars pp (weekend).

I am a winter wedding.....
We are paying 52.00 per person for a Sat. afternoon at Stewart Manor (100 person minimum, 200 max)

Coral House quoted us 56.00 a head.

Anywhere else we looked was way over heads budget wise. Check out either of the above two... you'll be pleasantly surprised... esp. the Stewart Manor. they throw in so many things and you're the only wedding! Also, we saved thousands with vendors because we're febraury. to seal the deal with the photo guy, he threw in the video for free. it's low season for them too and that way you save all around, not just on the hall.

Saturday afternoon- $85 pp
Saturday evening- $120 pp

Fox hollow (second choice) was
Friday- $89 pp
Saturday eveving- $105 pp

I can't believe to post what I came across on here

Well here we go in no particular order.....when we went we were looking for a reception for 300 people on either 08-08-08 or 10-10-08 and everything was for a friday night (and these are the numbers w/o tax and gratutity...so add 18% plus sales tax to these numbers) We also did not need to have our ceremony at the place

1. Chateau La Mer - Loved this place, and we will have something here, we just didn't think it was big enough for our party and weren't sure if we were going to go over 300. I was also afraid there wouldn't be enough cocktail room w/o the outside area, and didn't wanna be disappointed without the boat ride due to rain - $80.00pp

2. Bellport Country Club - This is another beautiful place and would have fit us. I loved that if it rained it was possible to go outside bc the outside has an overhang that everything under it is still dry (we went when it was raining). I wasn't crazy that for a large party w/o the outside they had to use part of the dining room, and this place just wasn't for me, however they seemed they would be accomodating -$109.00pp

3. Westbury Manor - When we got to this place, they sat us right in the middle of a cocktail hour that was about to start, everyone was walking in past us, and we walked in past guests, I was too uncomfortable to even give this place a fair chance, although what i saw was beautiful, in the end either way it was too far and not what we were looking for price wise - $108.00pp

4. Larkfield Manor - I also loved it here, and had they had a traditional larger reception room this would have been more up in the running. There are not much groundswise however we would have had the whole building and they seemed as though they would have bent over backwards for whatever we needed - 6 hour affair plus dessert extras - $70.00pp

5. East Wind - My fiance is in love with this place, however, we only fit in the grandballrooms which i wasn't crazy about. I also have one friend getting married here and went to another wedding here so I wanted something different that hadn't been done before. Premier Menu$95.00pp Elite Menu - $110.00pp Black Tie Menu $159.95 (if we came back they said they would be willing to negotiate)

6. Sunset Harbour - This was nice, and I actually liked their reception room. Overall no complaints, just wasn't the wow factor for me personally - $60-65pp

7. Milleridge Cottage - This place is beautiful, but I was actually a bit turned off by the all wood floors. I like the defined dancing area, and was also nervous that with my number of guests if it rained there would not be enough indoor room - ** Two Star Menu $88pp ***Three Star Menu $106.00pp

8. Meditteranean Manor - My parents had been to weddings and I heard this was a way to go if money was the most important aspect. They look like they hold a wonderful wedding, throw in a lot of stuff like ice sculptures and ice cream bars with the basic package, but there is really no where for outdoor stuff here, and I really wanted to have the outdoor cocktail our option $59.95pp

9. Giorgios - We went to a showcase here and he told us in two weeks the prices were going up so we must book by then. That turned me off. The place is beautiful, the food was ok, but for me it just wasn't worth the price. He also said that if I wanted to have a top place wedding he's the place and listed 6 other places that were beneath him (they were all on my list of places to look) so that turned me off. $109.00pp

10. Lands End - We didn't actually meet with someone, but just stopped in. Their ballroom is gorgeous and you can't go wrong on the water. Inside outside possiblities, it was just out of my price range. $140.00pp

I have been to weddings at East Winds Country Gardens, will being going to East Winds Estate 4-27-07, Marconi Manor, Meadowclub, will being going to Majestic Gardens 07-07-07, Atlantis Marine World, Riverhead Mooselodge, The Poughkeepsie Grand & the Grand Excelsior in Staten Island. So all of those places were out of the question!!!!

In the end we decided on Woodbury Country Club which i am so thrilled about!!!!! Any questions feel free to FM me!!!

Prices start at $75 for a Saturday Morning/Afternoon and $95 for a Saturday night. Friday & Sunday Evenings are also $75.

friday or sunday night ranged from $65-$75 a person.

Ceremony Fee $650, includes 30 minutes pre-ceremony hospitality and then 30 minutes for ceremony.

I'm getting married at Russo's on the Bay in Howard Beach on July 25, 2008. This is a Friday night, and we're paying $105 pp + tax with a 175 person minimum.

lol.....Jericho in August....we were happy with the price, but its going to be a little more since we want to get the extra hr which is i think $7pp and the dessert table.
