Re: Reception Hall Price Quotes for 08
These are for a Saturday night in October 08. Here's what I can remember:The Woodlands: $145pp. 175 person min. NOTE: Beautiful rooms, but not a lot of seating at the cocktail hour for that many people
The Royalton: $175pp. 150 person min. NOTE: Loads of room for both cocktail hour and dinner.
DeSeversky@NYIT: $150 pp (I think) plus a $1500 site fee. 150 person maximum. NOTE: TIght squeeze for both cocktail hour and dinner if you have the maximum number of people. Grounds are absolutely beautiful, especially for an outdoor wedding and/or reception.

Re: Reception Hall Price Quotes for 08
This thread is fabulous & very helpful. After reading all these (and being thoroughly blurry eyed) is it better to call for price quotes or go in person? Also, it seems that January/February are considered 'off-peak' by most RH's is this accurate?Congrats to all the brides that have already booked!

Congrats to all the brides that have already booked!
Yeah its better to go in person, over the phone some places wont even give you a quote...or they'll say it all depends and its hard to answer, some places will just give an answer but much better off going in person.
Yes jan/feb is off-peak

maybe for JT specify which room it is bc i think youre posting prices for the penthouse room...for the dome and then skylight its a bit more than that, this way people dont go there hoping for a certain price and then hearing something completely different. If those are the prices im going back to ask for my money back lol
