Re: settle our feud ... heat related

Wow, I think I'm in the minority. Our heat is at 72 when we're home and off when we're not - down to somewhere in the 60s at night when we sleep. I don't care how much heat costs - I am VERY temperature sensitive and I NEED heat!!

Re: settle our feud ... heat related

OMG - last night I was FREEEEZING even though I was all bundled up in heavy socks & layers of sweatshirts. Finally i had enough and went to check where the heat was at - freakin' 58. Maybe even lower than that - it definitely wasn't even at 60 degrees! No wonder I'm always getting sick during Winter Time. I definitely turned it up, I don't care. My parents are crazy.

When I move in with FH, we're going to be a NORMAL household and that heat is definitely gonna be high enough to keep us at least slightly WARM! Nighttime I don't care about - I like to cuddle in blankets & with him, but before bed - that's just ridiculous. Jeez.

Re: settle our feud ... heat related

Ours is on 68 during the day, but the sun really heats up our house, and its usually warmer than that.
At night we keep it at 72
But we keep our bathroom very warm on 76

Re: settle our feud ... heat related

We are currently out of heating oil (probably won't get a delivery till Mon.), and our house is now 47 degrees on the inside. I am 100% serious... we have a little thermometer in the kitchen to prove it!!! We are bundled up and are using a space heater, which is actually very helpful, as long as you stay in one room lol.... Last night I was like hey, why don't we just shut off the fridge and put everyting on the counter, nothing will go bad!! haha... mostly just my hands are freezing.
