Christine...I love to stamp! I use the mounted ones rather that the unmounted one. I feel that I have better control over them. there are things that you can used to line up your stamps...like rulers. So that you can keep your lettes inline. I like the Adorindike ink pads..you can get them at Michaels. I also like the pigment stamps...they stay wetter longer and its easier to emboss with the wetter ink. I also love to dry emboss. That is how I made our thank you cards for our wedding!!

I was thinking about having a Close to your HEart party. Thats another stamp company that has BEAUTIFUL stamps!!

OMG! I love those layouts!! I'm such a scrapbook beginner, though.

I have a question about acid. How strict are all of you about using only acid-free stuff for your scrapbook? Sometimes when I think of all the restrictions, it intimidates me.

I really try and stick to the acid free rule...but I have used non-acid free stuff in my layouts. The acid free stuff will keep your layouts longer. I will see if I can find some articles about acid free vs non acid free paper

just an FYI...Michaels has some scrapbooks on clearance for $1.00, 4 different styles. Its not my typical top-load style book (the 12x12 w/ covers), but its just the spiral bound 11x12 book w/ 20 pages.

Tammy,
I work in Massapequa a few days a week but I live out near Lisa in Oakdale. I'm going to try to make it to the next scrap gtg.
Yesterday I did wedding pages, but not mine-I did my parents wedding, my Moms bridal shower & my Dad & his wifes wedding.
My parents were only married for a few years & both remarried-do you guys think its weird to do pages with their wedding?

awesome kelly!! last nite I was making lasagne w/ homemade sauce and then the sopranos and SATC was on

OH, at 530 craig found me a new scrapbooking show on channel DYI
its direct tv
it was just called scrapbooking, I forgot the ladies name, I think Joann, taught how to do some cool things w/out a photo album, this strange, almost like a chinese cats in the cradle thing and some embellishments
which I still dont fully get

LisaRose- she does all these things that she says 'looks' complicated but are easy
get direct TV and you will have it
I said to craig when he told me I will love this channel............... I hope they dont have a lot of stuff for me to buy!

yesterday seemed instructional though, not selling anything, I didnt watch the whole entire show though
