I ordered from the Printers Daughter...I was very dissapointed in the shipping costs...I ordered eyelets...that weigh next to nothing...and she charged me like 4.50 shipping. I will not buy from her again. Did you check out Lifetime monents to see if they have a sale?? I love thier store as well as the board!!

There's no sale this week but there's lots of new things up. I joined them in December and the store has more then tripled in terms of what's available.

But I think the prices are usually pretty good and when they aren't you get it back in the shipping since she charges actual without handling. Can't beat that with a stick

I owe her an order, maybe I'll take a look around the store later.

And OMG - $4.50 shipping for eyelets?? That should be a crime! I never ordered from them because of the way the store is layed out and displays now I have a really good reason:D

they dont sell the ones I needed at Michaels and the scrapbooking store by me only had 2 packages...I needed like 7!!

I was making a very large project and needed alot of them!! So I ordered them from the Printers Daughter...they were back ordered and i didnt get them until 3 weeks later. I did however place and order with Lifetime Memories and received them like 2 days later...for less $$ and less shipping!!

Fo the most part Lifetime Moments is awsome. I have heard where people have their ordered shipped the same day as they order. But I usually avoid the sales - everything flies off the shelves and it takes forever to get the order. If I know one is coming up, I'll order a day or two beforehand so I can get what I need and Jackie will rushto get it out because she knows she will be bombarded with orders.

ok here's the deal. I went to scan my pages last night and the pages are too big for the scanner

so i'm going to have my fiance use his digital camera and try to get a good pic and post it that way.. sorry ladies, i tried!

if anyone has any other ideas on scanning the large books, please let me know.

DOnt scan the actual page
open your book and take a picture of the page! thats what I do then upload to shutterfly

You do the 12x12 pages right??

What you have to do is to scan 1/2 the page then the other then 'stitch' the two 1/2's together using Photoshop (or another photo editing program).

Sounds like I know alot huh?!?! LOL...dont let that fool ya...Im just telling you what I have heard on my various boards. Dont ask me how to 'stitch' together the pages!!

for me...it seem easier to just take pics of them, which is what I am going to do!!

Thanks Ladies... I'll try that over the weekend..

I was thinking of taking a scan of one half then the other, but i'm not that computer savy... LOL...

digital camera sounds like the easiest way...
I'll let you know Monday what happens...
