Those cards are great, I was thinking of making cards for my girls, but I need them to get theri dresses fitted, so I can get some material from their hems!!

This is a great thread, I ahve only read thru a couple of pages, don't hav ethe time right now, but I always start scrapbooking projects, and then they get thrown to the side. Hopefully after the wedding, I can finish some of them.

INFORMATION

For those going to the scrapbook convention...I got this email last night. Final Directions for our pre-registered guests at The National Scrapbooking
Expo in Long Island

The Expo is held on campus in the Roosevelt Building ( we will have plenty of directional signs to lead you there)
· There are approx 30 vendors from which to buy the newest products
· There are several free make and take projects for you to try
· There will be rooms set aside to crop in all day if you wish
· There is a lovely concessions area with nice food to purchase throughout the day
· All tickets and passes will be available at the will call booth in the lobby of the Roosevelt Building prior to the show`s opening and throughout
the day.
· If you have friends that want to go and have not yet pre-registered, on-line registration will be open until Wednesday, August 20 at 10pm. After
that time, tickets will be available at the door at a slightly higher price.

The Midnight Cropping Party is at the Hilton Hotel on Friday from 6pm -midnight
· There will be a few vendors set up at the cropping party for last minute purchases
· There is a dining room if you choose to get dinner at the hotel, there is also a bar and a deli in the bar for snacks and drinks.
· Just a reminder, there is an oldies costume contest for the cropping party with a really good prize for the winner(s). Come on, get in the
spirit!
· Be sure to bring cropping projects and supplies to work on in the cropping party (for those who have never been to one before)
· If you have not yet made reservations at the Hilton Hotel and would like to stay there, particularly on Friday, call Marty Fallon at the Hilton
at 631 577-1511 for room reservations at our special price, otherwise you will be given
a greatly increased price. Our rate is $129 per night single or double. Make sure you ask for Marty and tell her you are with the Scrapbooking
show.
· Parking is free at the Hotel and on the campus, you are free to drive between the two sites in your own car or if you are a guest at the hotel, you
can pre-arrange with them your desire to use their free shuttle services.
Since it is a weekend, they will need shuttle reservations so they can staff accordingly.

· If you have not yet reserved a location in the cropping party, we have left room for a few last minute slots, check with our ticket office on
campus for availability.

I went to the scrapbook convention today and I got some GREAT bargains byt one problem....

NO A/C!!!!!!!

it was about 120 degrees in there!! it wasnt pleasant!!

OMG!! I went to the Scrapbooking Expo today too. You're right about the a/c!! It was HOT! I didn't stay for long at all. I really would have loved to browse more, but I just had to get OUT of there!!
