Christine...I dont know if I told you but I joined a swap on Lifetimemoments for Christmas cards!! I have so many ideas!! Cant wait to get started!!

Lisa - that's great!!

I am in 2 card swaps. One is due on 9/15 that I HAVE to send out by Tuesday. That's for 5 anniversary cards.

The other one is for 15 Christmas cards due 10/1 that I need to get out before I go away on the 19th. I have half of those done. I feel so pressured doing swaps - I wonder if my designs are too elementary or just plain ugly. Maybe I'll scan them over the weekend to get your expert opinion if you don't mind?

Hi everyone! I'm home from vacation-now I need a vacation!
What did I miss around here? Is anyone going to that crop that Lisa posted? How was the convention? What did everyone buy?
I took about 180 pics on our trip & ordered them on Shutterfly last night, so I'll be scrappin next weekend!
I have been meaning to ask-does anyone subscribe to scrapbooking magazines? If so how do you like them?
I just started getting memory makers & Creating keepsakes(I had been buying that one for months)
I also buy Simple scrapbooks-I think it has fewer issues. I seem to get the most out of Creating Keepsakes though.
It's nice to be home

WOW Kelly!! You will be scrapping for a while!!

No one really committed to the crop that I posted and I think we had to sign up by last weekend. I can find out if it is sold out!!

I subscribe to Paper Kuts. I really like that magazine. I used to get Creating Keepsakes but now I just buy it at Michaels when I am there!!

OMG girls....I just saw the cutest thing on another board just for scrapping....its using the FREE paint chips that you get in the paint dept at Home depot or Lowes....here are a few examples!!

here are a couple of pis of the scrap room in progress

the first one is a picture of the punching station we will have. WE have a cabinet to go on the wall over the 2 cabinets. between the 2 cabinets, we will install some shelves or pull out drawers for some tools! To the right is the closet that will hold all or out paper!

here is a picture...of the blank wall... where our desk is going to be installed! The cabinet and the table with the copy machine on it will be gone!!

I just *happened* upon this thread... hoping I'll be bitten by the creative bug!! I sukk at anything related to crafts!!!

Uh, Lisa... nice green wastebasket, you seem to have left an unopened (unpaid for!) printer cartridge in there. BTW...they're on sale at K-mart this week for $29!! Maybe you should BUY one!!
