our day is falls on a holiday weekend (columbus day) so that we didnt worry about our guests not having off on monday....

Well deep down inside i always dreamed of a June wedding. And FH was set on a saturday Nite
And we saw the date 6-7-08 and saw how it was in a row and said this is it!
It was available, when we were looking at halls, everyone i called and saw had this date available.

And for our Engagement party we went with 7-7-07 because it went along with our theme of fun dates, and we are doing a casino vegas themed party so lucky 7's

We already have two anniversaries in Nov.
nov 9- we got married in city hall
nov 22-original anniversary

Feb 14 we got engaged
so feb 17 is the weddding (2nd anniversary in that month)

besides i love the number 7 so it all worked out.

We wanted to get married in the summer because I'm studying to be a teacher and if I have a job next year (I'm praying I will!), then we wanted to get married in the summer when I had off. The date we picked was the only Friday night in July Russo's had left.

We wanted to get married in the spring. Saturdays were more expensive and would've forced us to shrink our guest list, but we didn't want people to leave early b/c they have to go to work the next day. Memorial Day Weekend was available at the Harbor Club... and the rest is history =)

We orginally gonna do October 25th because we wanted it during the peak of fall color, but then things started getting crazy expensive, FH wasn't gonna be done with school by then so we had to start looking for another location to make the wedding affordable and push it up to the summer so that we won't have to worry about him being in school. July 4th is my second favorite holiday because I love fireworks and the holiday weekend makes it easier for guests to travel so that's what we went with.

We picked April 12th because we met on April 11th, His parents wedding anniversary is April 13th, my parents started dating April7th, my two best friends birthdays are 4/1 and 4/6 and his grandparents wedding ann is April 13th, and his aunt and uncle wedd ann is April 15th. It just seemed right.....

Our 8 yeah anniversary is on aug 14th and thats the day i wanted to get married unfortunately its a thursday night.. so we chose Saturday the 16th.. so now our rehearsal dinner will be on our 8 year anniversary..

well we originally wanted an october wedding but both my cousin and my sister got married in October so we decided to go with a st. patty's day theme.

turns out the two middle weekends in march of 08 are palm sunday and easter sunday so both of those were out.

That left the first weekend or the last weekend and we decided to go with the last weekend in hopes that we would have a better chance at nicer weather since it 'techincally' is spring at that point

i wanted a saturday night in may but it was too expensive everywhere. we finally found the place we wanted but i really didn't want to settle for a friday night...so i realized that the sunday night before memorial day would be like a saturday night but at a sunday night price so we booked that night...and fh said that 25 is a good number to remember...haha...so he can never forget our anniversary!!

4/25 (original date) because I wanted a spring wedding and come May, prices go up, so we went the last Friday in April...

But since we pushed our date back.. we chose 11/29 because thats our anniversary and just so happens to be a saturday night.. When we get married we will be together 5 years

I always knew my colors would be in the burgundy family and I didn’t want it to be too cold out or too hot, so I thought Sep. would be a good month. Also we figured it would be nice to something to celebrate in b/w our b-days and the holidays. FH b-day is in Jan, mine is in May and then you have X-mas in Dec, so we thought it would be a good month.

We love the 4th of July and it's very important to his family. They have a HUGE party every year. In 2002, the 4th of July was the last time FH saw his grandfater before he passed away. 'Pops' did a cannonball in the pool and was full of life. His entire family loves remembering him like that!

We couldn't think of a better day, and we're going to continue the party into the evening!

I've always wanted an October wedding. We picked 10/25/08, because it's the weekend between the school breaks in England and Ireland, and I want as many of my cousins to be able to come as possible!! Lots of teachers and families with young children, so hopefully the date will be convenient for them.

we originally wanted the fall, but it was more expensive plus it would further away. We took Friday, Jan 11, 2008 bc its the last weekend that they keep the Christmas lights up!
