You know this would be a perfect excuse for you all to come over and visit me!!! I could stuff 13 little Yule Lads all in our guest room

Then maybe DH would stop saying that LIW is 'replacing (my) social activity with actual people'

Actually, now that I think of it, I'm not so sure I want my doors slammed, my walls sniffed or my sheep...well, you know.

But, I have to say I was a sausage snatcher yesterday!

We had good old bangers and mash on Saturday night and DH had put the leftovers in some tupperware for himself of course...I stole one yesterday afternoon while he was watching TV!

You go LAD!!!! I have to say I am such a loser, I did no door slammling or sniffing (I can't remember who the heck I am) this weekend

You should know that you are affectionally known as 'Your Girlfriend Wendy' in our house (DH sees your letters and cards lying around all the time - and by the way, contrary to what you may think, I'm a great pen pal, I'm just really bad at sending the letters that I so dilligently write, I have about 3 for you that I haven't sent yet

One of FHs friends is booking Raphael and my FH turned to me and said 'didn't your imaginary British friend get married there?'

I said yes, and then kicked him.

You just can't make this stuff up...

An old Yule custom in Iceland includes the importance of getting new clothing Women spent many nights sewing so that each member of the household would get at least one new garment. As folklore had it, any person left out was in danger of being eaten by a malicious beast called the Christmas Cat.
