it's a little tough to estimate because of traffic....8-830ish?(more 8's)
Do most people just stop by for half and hour or is that a typo?

I might be a maybe. One of the NWs that lives by me isnt coming anymore and I am waiting for the other one. I am not really comfortable taking the train alone somewhere I have never been. . .still waiting though so hopefully she responds!!!!

T, I really think you should go for it. I purposely picked a place right by Penn Station so it makes it easy for us LI girls.... you just get off at Penn, walk upstairs....you are now on 8th Ave and 31st.

You literally walk one block over to 7th ave and 2 blocks down to between 28th and 29th and WA-LA you are there!! Its very very easy. Should take you no more then 5 minutes, and its still light out so no prob walking alone and going home there are plenty of other girls to walk with taking the train too!

Also, I can give you my cellie number if you get lost and I can come get you from wherever you are and walk with you back to the place if you need help.

i would have to take the A from Queens, its one train so its not terrible - still considering it! but i have never taken the train alone so i am a little ehhhh about it.

tilde the A stops right at Penn plus it's express so not bad at all. I take the E or V or R every day from Forest Hills and especially at that hour it's not bad or anything like that (i've taken the E home at like 2 am but always feel safe).

If it's easy for you to get to you can take the LIRR from forest hills if you are more comfortable on a regular train... that's like 10 minutes to Penn and super easy. I'd offer to come with but i'll already be in the city for work.

You'll be fine. The A isn't a bad train. You just have to get on it. I can take the PATH from 34th so I can leave whenever-not bound by my usual bus schedule. I can pick you up and walk you back if you're worried. Seriously its no big deal. I have been taking the subways since I was 14 because of my highschool being in the city and sometime I get wiggy when its a new subway. Its just new adventure jitters. Just come! We want to see you

Being the nut that I am, I have this thing where I hate talking to complete strangers on the phone.... aka, like taking to customer service people OR calling and making reservations. It just makes me all uncomfortable and weirded out doing it.

With that being said, I could totally but on my Big Girl panties and call Mustangs tomorrow and make a reservation for us. However, I figured Id take the slim chance and see if anyone wanted to call on our behalf

I swear between not going out in public without makeup and my refusal to call strangers....Im thinking therapy is in my future
