Nick: 'I Have a Great Life'

Though his high-profile divorce from his wife of three years, Jessica Simpson, may be occupying his mind, Nick Lachey is also thinking about having children.

'Obviously, it's not the right time for me to be a father,' the 32-year-old actor-singer says in a new Teen People magazine cover story – his first interview since his marital breakup. 'But the one thing I haven't had a chance to do is be a great dad.'

He adds: 'Playing with my friends' kids and having them call me Uncle Nick – that's life.'

As for how it is to be single again, Lachey says: 'Don't feel sorry for me. I have a great life.'

Having sold the Calabasas, Calif., house he and Simpson shared on their reality show 'Newlyweds' to 'Malcolm in the Middle' star Justin Berfield for an estimated $3.75 million, Lachey is shopping for a smaller place on Mulholland Drive, above L.A., the magazine reports. (Simpson has already purchased a $3 million Beverly Hills bungalow.)

Younger brother Drew Lachey, 29, who just won the prize on 'Dancing With the Stars,' also chimes in for the story. Talking about George Lopez's nasty swipe at Nick at January's People's Choice Awards ('The producers wanted me to apologize to Nick Lachey for not being here tonight, but we had enough seat fillers,' the comic said), Drew says: 'I wanted to call (George), but I calmed down. It's painful to see a good guy like Nick be the topic (of) these conversations.'

As for the future, the good guy is helping in the fight against online predators. Discovering that those who prey often use his name on the Internet to convince minors to meet them offline, Lachey was appalled. 'I mean, I've experienced credit fraud, but when someone's using your identity to commit horrible acts against kids, it's disgusting,' he says.

He's also returning to music with a new single he co-wrote, 'What's Left of Me.' Its subject? Moving on. Lyrics such as 'Stuck in the shadow of my mistakes/I want you ... Been dying inside/little by little' reflect the pain of his marital split. Still, he insists, 'That chapter is done.'

A close friend of mine is very close to a close friend of Chad...the marriage was annulled b/c Chad can't keep his peeshy in his pants.

However, Sophia is very happy right now, and happily dating someone else...I forgot his name, but he's famous...will confirm in a few mins.

A bacterial infection could kill the baby.'

According to In Touch magazine, just days after celebrating her 37th birthday, Aniston reportedly wrote a 3 page letter to her ex-husband.

In the letter she allegedly explained how angry she was with him and outlined her belief that he was involved with Ms Jolie while they were still married.

An insider told the magazine: “Sending it was the only way she felt she could move forward with her life,”

She told Pitt that she “wished him a happy life” but also said that she “never wants to hear from him again.”

Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt reportedly has forbidden his mother to speak with his ex-wife, actress Jennifer Aniston, after Jen and Jane Pitt shared intimate details about Pitt's life with his latest lover, actress Angelina Jolie.

According to the Daily Mirror, Pitt, 41, who recently finalized his divorce with Aniston, 36, after five years of marriage, 'flipped out' when he found out that Jennifer called his mother.

The Denver Post writes: 'Brad was enraged and he told his mom not to speak to Jennifer any more.'

A source adds: 'He believes his life with Angelina is none of Jen's business, and she has no right to meddle.'

According to a published report, Brad's mom Jane sent a dozen dyed blue roses (Jen's reported favorite) to Aniston for her birthday, according to Star Magazine
