I think that all of this Kristin stuff is made-up by her publicist. I was thinking about how she is suddenly popping up in these mags, and I definitely think it's the work of a PR rep.

The rules drove them apart: That's the official word from The Bachelor: Paris couple Dr. Travis Stork and Sarah Stone, who say they have broken up.

In a joint interview with the Nashville Tennessean on Monday, Stork and Stone said that the rules of the ABC reality show, which forced Stork to keep his selection a secret following the show's taping in November, ultimately led to their undoing, the Associated Press reports.

'You're in Paris and you're part of this incredible experience, this fantasy world, and then suddenly you come back to Nashville,' said Stork. Instead of pursuing the romance, 'You're forced to pretend you don't know someone.'

Although rumors had surfaced following the finale that linked the two, Stork said revealing the outcome would have been a 'huge breach of contract.' Instead, he added, the couple, who are both Nashville natives, went to great lengths to avoid one another. It wasn't until the Feb. 27 finale that viewers knew Stork selected Stone out of 25 women on the show.

'I remember one day Sarah was running down the street, and I walked out my front door on my bike and I instantly saw this person darting across the street, through traffic. I'm like, 'That’s Sarah. Do I look, do I not? What do I do?'' Stork recalled. He ended up riding his bike in the opposite direction. 'It's strange to have to live that way.'

Stone said that if the two had met under other circumstances their relationship might have played out differently. 'We wouldn't have had all the baggage that comes from being on this show,' she said. 'It would just be the two of us being able to hang out and get to know each other in a normal situation.'

ouch! Well, well, Michael Douglas certainly has some opinions about celebrity romances.

'I don't know about Brad Pitt,' says Douglas, 'leaving that beautiful woman [Jennifer Aniston] to go hold orphans for Angelina [Jolie]. I mean how long is that going to last?'

It's an odd comment, coming from someone who himself is a 'Messenger of Peace' for the United Nations. Pitt's rep declined to fire back, but let's hope that UN goodwill ambassador Jolie shows him some diplomatic immunity.

Brad and Angelina aren't the only couple Douglas evaluates in the new issue of GQ.


Though he denies reports that he spurned treatment for sex addiction, the 61-year-old divorcé credits current wife Catherine Zeta-Jones with saving him from a meaningless bachelorhood.

'You learn to respect something of value and nurture it and treat it well,' he says. 'I mean, don't ask me what happened with Renee Zellweger [and her short-lived husband Kenny Chesney]. I don't know how you get married for four months. And Julia [Roberts] with Lyle [Lovett]. There must be some incredible things you find out one night. I mean, I don't know.'

No question he communicates — constantly — with Zeta-Jones. The actress, who has the same ring-tone as on her T-Mobile commercials, calls him at least four times during his interview with GQ's Jeanne Marie Laskas, and once when he's giving a speech at the United Nations.

At the UN, he turns off his own phone's ringer, but later tells her 'I was gonna … put you on the microphone. … If Mrs. [Kofi] Annan wasn't there, maybe I would have.'

Safe in his domestic bliss, the star of the forthcoming 'The Sentinel' still remembers doing his famous sex scenes in 'Basic Instinct,' 'Fatal Attraction' and 'Disclosure.'

'I'd always go, 'Okay, I'm going to touch your breast here,' so it was never like, 'Hey what's going on?' I mean, you make a lady comfortable.'

His screen romp with Sharon Stone may have sapped his energy for the 'Basic Instinct' sequel.

'When Sharon and I did the f— of the century — it was eight days,' he recalls. 'It was tough. It was exhausting.'

yeah I thought so too! She was supposedly 3 months along or around that when they announced she was pregnant in October. So she has to be due sometime around now.

She does! He is huge though - so tall and big - and she is tiny. He has to have almost 150 lbs on her!
