Thanks girls...I agree. It's funny how you know what you want but need someone else (like you lovely ladies) to give you that 'push'. I think I'm going to suck it up and come up with the extra cash for the bows...![]()
I wasn't going to go to the showcase, but think I will to meet with Gina...I need invites!
Gina won't even look at you on the day of the showcase. She's so busy. Best bet, make an appointment with ther for a time when you can sit down with her one on one.
I agree, she is super busy. But it was actually her who FM'ed me about meeting during the showcase...ugh, I can't wait until May!

Hi, Thanks to somethinnblue for telling me about this thread!. I've met with robert, i fell in love w/ jt prob. b/c of C.H. room, menu variety, and the diff. rooms. BUT I'm worried about the 'drive through' feel of running into several brides...Will this happen less on a Friday night/ Sat. morning in an off season?

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
I was concerned about bumping into brides, but they claim to stagger the CH start times. When FH and I were there on a Saturday eveningn in Sept, we saw two brides, one was taking pics outside one was taking pics inside. I am sure our Bridal attendants will coordinate us with each other! When I met with Gina a few weeks ago, I almost fell off my chair when she told me how many people would be monitoring/coordinating our party! I think she said we'll have 2 bridal attendants JUST FOR US!! All for me!!

We are having the ceremony there also in the skylight room. The pictures are beautiful and my guests wont have to travel. My uncle is a minister and is marrying us.

You're welcome! Sorry for keeping you up!
I'm also getting married on a Friday night and while it's the 'busy season' I am the first night wedding (try to book the first time slot) and my guests won't see anyone else when they get there...plus I am all the way on the bottom in the Oak Room and the other party is in the Dome Room. If you're a Sat morning, I would think you would even have less of a chance of running into anyone else...chances are it'll be just you.
We're doing the ceremony at 3pm and the CH starts at 7pm (until 1am!)...
Best wishes!

When I spoke with Gina last week, she said that there will be personalized menus on every table.

Which menu are you getting? Maybe it's just for the deluxe?

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
you know-i asked them 2 times if we could work out a deal on the chair covers, and they said no both times!! i even said i would use the 4 vendor program if they would give them to me as the extra thing, and they said they get them from an outside person. now im pissed that other people are getting them!!BTW-im only using their florist and limo vendors. everything else i got much better deals on elsewhere.
this thread was a kick *** idea!!

I think we have the deluxe. Ask your Banquet manager maybe they could throw them in.

hey bridegirl!!! i know what you mean about the chair covers, i was so bummed to see some people even got them 'thrown' in. i totally think they make a huge difference, and the bow is a must IMO.
i think if you pay for the chair covers out right, youll still be saving $$$ than if you were going to do the 4 vendor thing. i am only using their limo company, i found other vendors that suited me better.
this is the best thread right??!!

People are getting thrown in? I know for a fact that this is one thing that they wouldn't budge on...we are paying for ours and most of the girls on this thread are as well...I actually don't know anyone who had them thrown in...don't worry!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
Hi ladies! I just wanted to tell you that I called JT today and spoke with the infamous Anna. I was kind of iffy on the phone call. She started off nice, then was rude and condescending, then was nice again. Anyway, I was wanted to ask about the votive placecard holders. According to her they have never seen them before and she basically told me (after a lengthy discussion) that if we wanted them we could do them but it is a potential fire hazard. I think she is making a bigger deal out of it then it is. Then we talked about maybe having them put out and lit just before the guests moved to the dome room for the reception and she basically said she didn't think that was a good idea because then it would be like 'a herd of cattle' trying to get the votives. I don't know what to do...I really want to do them. She seemed to think it was a bad idea. What do you ladies think?Welcome New Vendors
