Nope, no other ballroom. You're the only party on that floor and your rest room is right outside the Oak. If anything, peolple from the Skylight may come down to use the rest room...but they mostly do 2 events, not 3 and it's usually Dome or Penthouse (same level) and Oak.
We had the whole floor to ourselves.

Awesome. Actually, I have another question for you. I'm making some flower balls to hang from those gorgeous castle-like doors of the Oak room. Did you have the doors open for the whole reception? If so, then does the outer portion of the doors face inward when they are propped open? Just wondering so I know to make balls for both sides of the door, or just one.

Hi! The doors were closed while ther eception was happening. When they open, they open outward, so away from the room toward the outside...you pull instead of push (hope that makes sense).

Yup, perfect sense. So I really only need to make one set and those will go on the inside so they are seen when the doors are open, and when they are closed.

I loved your review - very helpful! I have a few questions. I am having my reception at Jericho Terrace next year in the Dome Room. I think it looks like you had yours in there? If so, how many guests did you end up having and was it crowded? I am freaking out because I think we are going to have between 200-225 guests and I don't want it to be too crowded in between the tables or on the dance floor. Although they said it holds 250 people, I am still very nervous. Second question, where do they put the bar?

i couldve written this myself! we are praying for no's. we literally have about 280 people on our A list, very few OOT, and we want only 230 or so.

scary enough yes, please dont freak me out lol. when we booked the infamous anna said that if need be they replace the tables with rectangular ones and can fit up to 300
we have about 20 no's that just got courtesy invites, other than that, we are doing the no dance.....

Don't worry about it. It will turn out beautiful, I actually did not know about the rectangular ones - that is a good thing. We fell in love with the dome room and did not want to switch rooms. Do you know where they put the bar in that room?

Hey girls.
One of my main concerns is being able to take pictures outside. What if there are two Sat night weddings? I know they are staggered, but we might overlap. Does the banquet manager coordinate times for taking pics so you are guaranteed a time slot? We're getting married at JT, so we'll be there early getting ready in the bridal suite.

Thanks for the welcome..I'm also using the dome room, and went recently to make a payment and saw the room with the chair covers, and realized I had to have them..lol..they told me it was like $3 a chair, but I'm going to see if they can throw it in considering I'm using alot of their vendors.

hey sorry to interrupt your thread, i am going to jericho terrace on 8/20. i was wondering if anyone can give me a price range per plate, so i would know what to give as a gift?? I'm sure she will have at least 250 people (i dont' know what room though) all the works every option u can possibly get meaning chair cover and vietnesse hour. thanks for any help even though i didnt give much info!
