Wow, I never thought about that! I hope that someone isn't getting married after me (mine is 11:30 AM, so I doubt there are ones before mine) while my reception is going on! I would feel really bad about that.

I'm glad this got bumped too! Any past JT brides (or future ones who've seen it) have pics of what the skylight room looks like all set up? Anyone know if that room has round tables or rectangle...or do you get to choose? TIA!!!

A good friend of mine's wedding was in that room about 8 yrs ago. I have to dig out the pics and scan them!!!

Augh don't tell me that!!! My ceremony is going to be there in the Skylight room, and my only saving grace is that it starts at 4:30, which means any wedding going on upstairs at that time will be over by 5 or 6. I will have to ask my BM if there are any weddings going on that day!!!

If your cememony is in the skylight room, then I don't think you need to worry. That's on the top floor, and you don't really hear noise below you, just above you.

(I just remembered that I think there is a wedding the same day in the dome room, we were supposed to get it for our ceremony, and then he said we couldn't get it)

I thought the skylight room had a skylight, which means it has to be on the top floor. Otherwise it's not a true skylight. Hmmm...now I'm confused

The skylight part has no room above it, but the rest of the room (to one side, actually) has the dome room above it. Correct me if I'm wrong, guys!

Yes you are right as far as it not having a room above it. Just to one side but I'm not sure if it's the dome room or the bigger one upstairs.

How many appointments did you have at the jericho terrace? We booked early septemer and that is the only time we havent been since.

Skylight Room does NOT have a room right above it. On the floor about the room, to one side is 2 bridal suites to the other side (which has windows that overlook the Skylight room --has curtains) is the Penthouse Room. The Dome Room is next to the Penthouse Room.

I am (or was not) the average JT bride. FH and I signed our contract in Sept 04, and I attended EVERY monthly showcase they had there from Sept thru March! I also was there (in addition) to drop off payments, ask BM questions and to show off my room to family and friends! I was (and still am) addicted to that place!!!!

Not sure. They stopped them for the summer, b/c they are so busy. The BEST ones are the big ones when they ahve the kitchen open!!! I HOPE they have at least one big one this 'year'.

just had my food tasting and it was awesome! i think i'm gonna explode! rob my BM answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease b/c he knew i was starting to become overwhelmed. i feel much better now.

Yes I agree.... I have pictures but have to see how I can send them to you.

I went to book my JT date tonight! So excited. Had my food tasting and all! The food was great. My very italian mom was even impressed!
I fell in love with the rooms and the place as soon as I saw it, It was my last hall and I wanted to book it on the spot!
So glad to know that so many people are happy with everything there!

I too loved JT as soon as I saw it. It was the last hall I saw too!! When I brought FH there, he fell in love as soon as we pulled into the parking lot!!
