Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
i just got married at the JT on 9/10/05I did use Gina, and yes she is free. She was great. She helped me plan, and checked up on me. I also used her for our invitations, which were gorgeous.
The JT made my wedding everything that I hoped it would be. The setting in everyroom is gorgeous. The food was sooooooo good! (Dave and I asked for seconds!!!) I can't wait to get my pics back so i can share.
Congrats to all who are getting married...and don't worry...leave everything up to JT.
I had the 2 greatest bridal attendants, and the Maitre de was fantastic. They really made it a dream affair and lived up to all their promises.
(getting in the parking lot is a little bit of a pain though, depending on the time of day)
good luck girls!

I can tell you from mine (and some others here) experience, they don't 'throw in' the chair covers. We worked with Mike Closs, and he totally worked with our budget. We spent 2 1/2 hours with him going over what was important to us and what we could pass on.
I say, figure out what it most important (be it chair covers, vienesse hour, or 7 course choices) and do what you can to have your banquet manager meet your wants and stay within your budget!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
We didn't have any extras thrown in right away.. they refused the wedding chair cover.. we were about to pay for them, but figured we couldn't splurge on anything else.. come the day of the wedding, my DH and I walked into the Dome Room to see the room set up before people were in it and low and behold they put chair covers on all of the chairs for FREE!!!! Plus they threw in the cordial bar at the end of the night.. I couldn't believe it!!! So even if it feels like you aren't getting anything 'thrown' in, they may surprise you!!

I'm glad this got bumped too! Any past JT brides (or future ones who've seen it) have pics of what the skylight room looks like all set up? Anyone know if that room has round tables or rectangle...or do you get to choose? TIA!!!

As far as the tables go you get to choose. I'm pretty sure its between round or oval.

I just got married there in sept and i just want to tell all future brides that if you are having your cermony there, make sure there is no other wedding going on during your ceremony. During my ceremong my guests didnt hear a thing. All they heard was the wedding upstairs dj introducing their wedding party. It was horrible.
