I think the maximum for the Dome Room is 240....I believe that's the ABSOLUTE maximum (as in it's going to be really tight and you are physically unable to fit any more than that.) The guy we met with when we booked (Robert, I think??) told us that 220 is comfortable...
I feel like having the minimum of 200 and the maximum of 240 makes figuring out the guest list really difficult, though. I want to make sure I meet the minimum, but I don't want to go over the 'comfortable' number of people. My guest list is at about 235 right now...I have forbidden my mother from adding any more guests!![]()
i believe that anna had told us when we booked that they can fit something like 315 in there
we all knew that was a bit off.... after 240 they change the round tables to i believe rectangular ones to accomodate more people. HTH

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
I also am hoping to do the high centerpieces b/c of the high dome...I was thinking that (for cost reasons...those high centerpieces being so darn expensive) we might do high centerpieces at the tables surrounding the dance floor, and low centerpieces on the other tables...I don't know if this will look weird, though...Thoughts??

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
boston, i think u could definitely switch it up, but i would do like every other table maybe. it might look a little weird if only the ones surrounding the dance floor were high... try looking into maybe tall candles and less flowers.

I am not sure what the 'comfort' number is, but FYI, they can take the wall down if you need more room, going into the cocktail Hr room

Girls do you know what JT puts there wedding cake on. Do they have one of those fancy silver cake stands? Is the table that they put it on just big enough for the cake or can you fit other stuff on there??

They put it on a fairly large table...I guess other things do fit on it, but I'm not sure you would want to put anything besides the cake there...no fancy cake stand (at least none used for me) just a stand...the cake speaks for itself!
I have pics in my review on TBR board...

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!
Hey girls. I am probably going to call and block rooms tomorrow, and I think it will be the Red Roof Inn and the Wingate. I figure Red Roof can be the slightly less expensive alternative for the guests. In case you don't know, here is how the Wingate shuttle works (since I called for info a few weeks ago). If you book 15 rooms, you get a free shuttle to JT and back to the inn. It is a 14-passanger van. So if you actually book 15 rooms, its likely you'll need 2 vans. Additional vans cost $188 from what the lady told me. So...it seems that no matter what you'll have to pay for at least one van. If you are under the 15 minimum and want a van you have to pay, and if you book 15 rooms its a good chance you'll need an extra van.
But, for $188, its nice for the guests to be able to drink and enjoy themselves without worry about driving back to the hotel. Just thought I'd share.

We got the chair covers thrown in, but we are in the Oak room, and do not have nearly as many chairs to cover as in the Dome room.

Hey girls...check out the review of a JT wedding on BHB. Its so wierd...I think something is fishy. How can so many things be bad at one wedding?

Wait!!! I have been away and now I can't find this nasty review of JT you guys are talking about...Maybe LIW deleted the post b/c it was negative? Can someone fill me in on the highlights?Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment, but I have this sick need to read every negative thing about every one of my wedding vendors...
