Holy cow!!! Now with link to picture!!!!!!

Ladies what do I do?!??!
I have been in love with a certain invitation forever... I never got a price but I knew it was expensive... well I went on looking and looking and while I have found invitations I like I still Love this one...
Well I asked Laura at LaProductions to help me out and the total bill would come to:
$1069.12 !!!! - Just wanted to add that is the price AFTER the 30% off discount laura gives!!!!
Can I justify spending this much on something people are going to toss????
they are GORGEOUS though!!

Re: Holy cow!!!

I can't justify spendin that kind of money. The ones that I fell in love it were $$$$$.
They wil be looked at for 30 seconds. I'd rather put the $$ toward something else.

Re: Holy cow!!!

I don't think you should compare it to something being tossed in the garbage. I was so put off when people would say that to me. For one, *I'M* not tossing it - so I want something that I love...especially if it will be photographed.

Personally, I look at invitations as the first peek into the affair. They really set a tone, imo.

If it's in your budget and they are something that you really love, go for it.

That is exactly the way you should look at it!! I feel in love with insanely expensive invitations - total bill would have come out to $3K - that wasnt in our budget - i'm still getting expensive invitiations - just ones that now fit in our budget -

Re: Holy cow!!!

Holy CR*P that is a lot of money!! ..

You have some time to look around still, though (thank Gawd!) But you know what I always say .. follow your heart and do what you truly want to do .. what is important to one bride is just not as important to another .. you have to pick and choose the little ways to save $$ here and there, and the invites are truly important to you, who should say otherwise?

Re: Holy cow!!!

That's for how many invites?

Does it include everything? (the reception card, rsvp card, address printing on the envelopes, etc)

It's a lot of money but not if you love them! You already looked high and low and haven't found anything else you like. Why settle on an invite just to save maybe $300? You can make that up someplace else.

I disagree with the 'in the garbage' remark. I happen to be one of those people that saves invitations for all the weddings I have been invited to. Aside from the fact that some people would consider a reception a waste of money since it's the ceremony that matters and the rest is just for fun.

Re: Holy cow!!!

Personally, no, I definitely wouldn't spend that much on invitations. However, this is between you and your FH. I think that he should have total veto power over this since it is something you can absolutely get for cheaper. But, if he's all for it, who is anyone else to tell you no!
