Unity Candle - ETA possbility.... with PIC!!

We are Christians & like the idea of a unity candle but wanted to know if this is for Catholics only ???

We stayed at the Luxor. Nice place, awesome theme, but SCARY elevators!

I don't think unity candles are only for Catholic ceremonies. I think it is utilized more as a symbol of your lives together rather than a religous reason.
Like the song goes it's your party do what you want

I never knew that. Fh & I was talking abt it & we like the idea - but was not sure what religion it belonged to

i was offered it when i booked my chapel but i declined because i also thought it was for religious purposes..... now im regretting it..... do you think i should call them back and add it?

I do believe the unity candle is to unite your souls together in marriage (IMO). I doubt it matters on your religion. It's your day, I say do what makes you happy!
