Now I'm just obsessed - more pics on page 3 (macro) --- It's official!!!!!!!!! - NEW PICS ON PAGE 2

FI called last night to ask what time Chez Oskar's closes - a neighborhood restaurant in Brooklyn and the scene of our first kiss. I rushed home and fixed my hair, showered and changed.

We were seated in the back in a corner booth. We both had mojitos. I ordered lobster bisque and crabcakes & he ordered a salad. When the bisque and salad came he ate a few bites of it and then pushed it aside.

He looked at me and said 'You know what I'm doing?' I said 'No.' he then told me that he had prepared something and practiced it in the car for the entire drive from his brother's place in NJ - 90 minutes at least. He said it was not coming out right so he was just going to tell me.

He told me that he never thought he'd fall in love again after his last relationship. He never thought he would get married - ever. He said I am always on his side and that although it took him 3 1/2 years to even ask me out, he'd gladly wait another 3 1/2 years if it took that much. Then he said 'I would be honored if you would be my wife.'

Then he pulled out a small white box. I kissed him and said 'Yes, I will be your wife.' Then I opened the box (a light was inside) and saw my fabulous ring!!!!!

These are a few pics. They are all pretty horrible but for some reason I just can't get a decent pic of the ring. The pic I scanned from the appraisal is at the bottom.
















I nearly got hit by a car last night when we crossed the street since I stopped in the street to stare at my sparkly ring!!!!
