I'm at a stand still with my planning. I did SO much in the beginning that I'm left with minor details to go. I have 2 payments left to finish, one in Oct. and then the one before the wedding, time IS flying!!!!

I'm a FT girl too....we did the tasting before we booked. Of course, we booked that same night....the food was amazing!!!

I loved that place i went there, and was going to book them but they didnt want to be reasonable with the amount of people that we needed to have. They told me that i needed to have 200 adults and i didnt think that i would have that, i was disappointed with them since they didnt want to work with me. So i went with Sandcastle!

Yea, their room is so big so you must guarantee 200.
Sandcastle is beautiful too, I have been to a wedding there, my friend is getting married there in Sept and another in Oct. I'll definitley let you know more.

but the Grand Ballroom in the Sandcastle holds 400 people but since the owner of the place was there i was able to talk him into lowering the amount of people we had to guarantee, so instead of 200 adults he let us guarantee them 160 adults, but our list is getting bigger and bigger everyday so we are definetly going to have about 200 Adults. Definetly let me know what you think about the service when you go there this year.

Im not sure if you know this but the owner of Sand castle and the ownder of Floral Terrace is the same person.
They ar emor willing to do smaller parties at Sand castle becasue they have more rooms to fill up ( at least thats what I was told) Anyhoo... it is sooo nice there. My bro had his wedding at Sand Castle and everything was outstanding!!

ETA:Oh and 400 people in that ballroom is very tight.. it holds 400 if u use the dance floor for tables. Generally it hold up to about 300 comfortably

We actually went to the FT on July 21st exactly a year before to have our food tasting. I was soooo impressed. The food is awesome, They brought us out everything you could imagine from CH, Main entrees and dessert. I fell in love with it all over again. Also, since a wedding was going on I saw how they work and how organized they are and it really impressed me. I will actually scan some pics in when I get a chance to show you. I'm so excited, July 2007 cant come soon enough.

We had our tasting before we booked, we actually booked that night after we tried all the food. We did the same thing, went the night of a wedding and it was amazing!! The room was all set up and the food was out in the cocktail room so it was great to see and taste!!!

Someday's 2007 seems so far away but other day's, I'm like 'oh Man, it's coming quick'.
