I hope I don't offend anyone- but I'll go 1st!!

JMO- but I'm not a fan of the pics with the veil going over both the bride and groom!

Re: Stolen from a past bride Which wedding photo pose is your pet peeve?

I like the veil over the bride and groom, though I do not have one myself. I am definitely not a fan of the pics with the groom posing with the BP all over him being silly or of the bride with the groomsmen lifting her up etc. I was so scared my photographer would ask us to do that, but he did not. I am not close with the groomsmen at all and I would have been uncomfortable. I am also not a huge fan of the pic where the boq is pointing towards the camera and the couple is in the background. I think I have just seen it too much.

Re: Stolen from a past bride Which wedding photo pose is your pet peeve?

ok, I'll confess..... this one is bad, becuase I know almost everyone has this pic.... (we don't becuase we only had one groomsman) I appologize in advance!!!!

I don't like the groomsmen pics where they pose in a pack with their arms crossed... looking all slick as if they're in a band or the mob... it just looks silly to me....

Re: Stolen from a past bride Which wedding photo pose is your pet peeve?

OMG I have had ALL your poses you have described

I originally didn't want the veil shots of the 2 of us, but I literally changed my mind the day of the wedding.. I actually have a beautiful shot of me and my mom under the veil that I am going to have framed for her.. It's a little big, but if you saw the proof, you'd see how tasteful it really was..

Re: Stolen from a past bride Which wedding photo pose is your pet peeve?

this is definitely the funniest thread I have ever seen....I am laughing hysterically right now b/c I have been thinking this all along. Port Jeff Bride- your description of the mafia groomsmen just made me get sick from laughing so hard.

I agree with ALL of these.....but I saw one this weekend that made me SO NAUCIOUS....it was of the bride and groom being reunited and seeing each other for the first time.....and the groom got on his knees and he was wrapped around the bride's waist grasping her and they are crying.
Its so queer that I had to turn my computer off and leave the room.

I agree, and I have one of those! I was actually sniffing my bo-k for real and the photojournalist missed the shot, but asked me to do it again, so I did! So I have that pic- it's actually one of DH's favorites!

I have this shot, but I LOVE it. It's one picture that everyone loves when they see it. My pet peeve pose is probably the one of the bride and groom kissing while the bride holds the bo-k out. I also don't care for the ones of the GM holding the bride.
