I don't like the ones where everyone in the bridal party is jumping in the air... it just seems silly to me. Thankfully, they didn't try and make us do that.

Me and my hubby have a pic with the veil over's us. I actually said I wanted to try it. I can't really think of a pose that I don't like. I think to it depends on how the photographer catched the moment.

i dont like the pose when the groom is on bended knee and holding the brides hand....i like more natural poses....it look too fake...bended knee is for the engagement only....

I agree with the veil over the bride and groom!

I also dislike when the bridesmaid bouquets are spread out on the brides train. It bothers me because it is so unnatural looking.

lol i actually did like our veil over us pic--it came out nice. but it has been overdone.


honestly i hate hate hate hate hate hate overly 'sexy' poses of brides and grooms. to each their own--and i'm not a traditionalist by ANY means--but i just don't think your wedding day in a gorgeous white dress is the day that you should do pics like stradling your husband while he lays on the ground like your humping him or bending over like he's hitting it from da back.

i know ppl like doing them to be 'different' and cool, but its just not my style at all.

oh! I thought of another one that I have seen that is really silly.

Its hard to describe but it is when the bride and groom are laying on their backs, in opposite positions, on the bride's train....so it looks like they are laying on the white satin of her dress. There are usually flower petals sprinkled all over the satin, too.
I think when people are doing that they are trying to emulate magazine photos......but unless the couple can carry it off and they are movie stars....I think it looks rediculous.

yeah, I don't care for that one either.... for the same reason... it looks staged. Same with the BP jumping or holding up the bride..... it's seems like staged 'spontaneity'.... ah, to each their own....

the one thing all of these have in common? many we would probably like if we weren't already exposed to about 1 billion wedding pics.... we all know the trends and tricks.... basically the photographers creative short-cuts....

ok, I'll confess..... this one is bad, becuase I know almost everyone has this pic.... (we don't becuase we only had one groomsman) I appologize in advance!!!!

I don't like the groomsmen pics where they pose in a pack with their arms crossed... looking all slick as if they're in a band or the mob... it just looks silly to me....

And I hate the BP jumping pics too - sooo glad they came out like crap! Here it is! Notice only half of them are doing it!

Though my FG looks soooo cute!


Another one I can't stand and agree with- bouquets all over the bride's train- ick. So dated to me.

I don't like Eyes behind the bouquet and I don't like Bride running away from groom. Why is the bride running away from the groom on her wedding day? I just always thought that was strange. Oh and I don't like Bride and groom peeking into the limo.

I love the pics with the veil over the B&G, esp with a cathedral veil!

I'm not a fan of the pic where the bride is laying on the ground... I don't know why.

You girls kill me!!

My photog was INSISTING we do this pic with the girls throwing their bouquets in the air. It just looked dumb.. the timing was never right and some of the bouquets actually got a little messed up!

The veil over the B&G and the bo-ks on the train..

I totally agree with the B&G under the veil! BUT, ironically enough - we felt so stupid taking this picture and started hysterically laughing....and now it's one of my favorites!!

Now see.. I actually have one framed of me laying on a blanket in the gress and DH over me kissing me..

I WANTED sexy pictures.. I have some traditional ones but I wanted my pictures too ooze sex and sensuality and honestly, they were so tasteful.. not like cover of a porn video at all!!!

I don't like the pic of the bride and groom holding the champagne glasses out in front of them.. I just think it makes them look really weird..
