I agree with the veil over the bride and groom!

I also dislike when the bridesmaid bouquets are spread out on the brides train. It bothers me because it is so unnatural looking.

But to each his own!

I agree with this one. I think it looks silly, but I am sure I have poses other people think are silly as well.

honestly i hate hate hate hate hate hate overly 'sexy' poses of brides and grooms. to each their own--and i'm not a traditionalist by ANY means--but i just don't think your wedding day in a gorgeous white dress is the day that you should do pics like stradling your husband while he lays on the ground like your humping him or bending over like he's hitting it from da back.

i know ppl like doing them to be 'different' and cool, but its just not my style at all.

Now see.. I actually have one framed of me laying on a blanket in the gress and DH over me kissing me..

I WANTED sexy pictures.. I have some traditional ones but I wanted my pictures too ooze sex and sensuality and honestly, they were so tasteful.. not like cover of a porn video at all!!!

I looked at your album and I think your sexy pics turned out great, I think they are tastefully done. You two definitly pulled them off.

I actually love these, I will have the same ones, George is my photographer as well. I just think ones where the bride is like straddling her husband are a bit much

this my friends was the dumbest picture in america....I had NO IDEA what the hell I was suppose to be doing and my girls were HYSTERICALLY laughing......The only reason I like it is b/c I like the memory along with it but ummmmmm Jay I love ya and all but WHAT were you trying to accomplish here LOL

we have the chessiest shot ever... the photog. made fh jump off of a rock or something and made me stand there with open arms like he is jumping into my arms..its so cheesey I can't even show it to anyone...too embarassing lol

I think it was even more embarrassing taking the pic because t that oint all of our guests were standing around watching and poor DH had to do it over and over again until he got it right

Oh- this is a good thread. All of my least favorites are on here: the veil over the bride and groom (although sometimes I like it), the flowers on the train and the bride with the GM and the Groom with the BM- just not my favorites

I came back in here to look at that photo again... I'm at work trying not to laugh out loud! It is sooooooo funny!! Your poor DH! He must have felt so stupid! The even more hilarious part is that he had to do it over and over until he 'got it right' ?! Imagine what it would have looked like if he got it wrong!

i have to say im not a fan of the posed pics in general i had photojournalistic photographers that caught great real moments and expressions of the day.....i like a real smile, laugh, look etc.....but i do love a lot of others work that had posed photos i just dont think i wouldve liked to see mike and i doing those things bc its just not us....we're two morons in love and when i say morons i mean we're goofy and we wouldnt have been able to do all those serious lovey dovey shots without being brought to the hospital from laughing and then it just wouldnt have made sense to people that know us to see them

My photographer had us do that, and I actually loved how it came out - I ordered it as one of my enlargements.
