Official 2010 De Seversky Brides
Anyone else getting married at De Seversky in 2010????would love to get a thread going with all De Seversky brides :)
My FH and I are planning our wedding there in May 2010 and I couldn't be more excited. I feel so lucky to have found it! It's so beautiful and unique!

I'm booked for March of 2010. I absolutely LOVED this venue! I totally got the 'this is it' feeling when we saw it. I could see my whole wedding ceremony & reception taking place when we visited it. Can't wait! :)

oh yay! mee too!!
back in February when we booked I had asked if they had a list of enhancements...i wanted to add a few things to the menu...like a choc fountain and what not...they said they were still working on it...
A month ago I emailed eric and he said they were sitll working on and almost complete....so i am still awaiting...hahahah
what type of reception ar eyou doing?
we are the traditional...

We have too many guests (over 150) so we are doing the Mansion Style reception. Anyone else doing this?We extended a half hour too! I did see on my menu that there was an optional Sushi station, maybe that is an enhancement???

yea i saw that too!!! i was under the impression there was a seperate list of enhancements....are you doing the dessert cafe'?

It comes with the mansion style reception. I thought it came with all of them though.Did you do your tasting yet?

I'm also working with Eric. I haven't done too much, other than sign the contract and pay the deposit. I still have almost a year to go, and we don't want to choose our menu too far in advance. We're not planning on going to a tasting until the summer, most likely. I didn't know they had an actual list of enhancement. I just figured they'd work with us on providing us with whatever we would want to add and just charge us extra for those additions.

the cafe' ....it was an add on..not an expensive one...no i didnt...i can not believe i booked without a tasting eek!...but I have heard nothing but good things so that is why i did that!! you had a private tasting? how did that work? what did you have??

Hi Ladies!!Welcome Ragdoll :) I am working with Melissa - love her - she is so sweet and helpful! As for the enhancements - Melissa had told us that we could pretty much get anything we wanted - all you have to do is ask them if it's available!

No worries girls, food was EXCELLENT when I went for my tasting. The really went out of their way for us, I was unable to make the one on April 1 because I work really late during the first day of the month. I got to meet the head chef, who was great! I brought my FFIL to the tasting too who is a real foodie and he thought the food was awesome. We got some treats from the desert cafe and they were sooo good!
