Not bad at all! Also, if you decide to do some add ons - you can definitely bargain with them on the prices. They are definitely flexible and willing to work with you.

yes and they said that...if your going to add a few things then we will make it into a package or what not...i def want to do the salad (intermezzo too), that seafood at cocktail hour and the choc fountain..and im thinking of maybe adding in another chef attended station OR maybe seeing if i can do without the 2 chafing dishes and put it towarsds the chef attended station or somehting like that...i am sooo exicted! and all the new additions looked awesome which is also making me very happy! ahhhhh it cant come soon enough!! hehehe

LOL - I know! So excited!! We added a salad course and the raw bar for the cocktail hour. Who knows if we end up adding something else (although we probably will when we choose the menu!)

I am not having a DOC - although I did think about it. As for the lighting....We are having the mansion style wedding with only dinner in the ballroom then the dancing and shenanigans in the garden (all glass room) afterwards. So....we arent really worrying about uplighting because the dj will be in the all glass room.

I am having a DOC, I am using Gina from Bleu Diamond Events, she is wonderful.

Haven't thought too much about lighting yet, probably will not have any, that room is so beautiful.

I am!!!!!!!!! I am planning to get uplights I was told I need about 24 and also maybe ceiling drapery.... Also gonna get lighting for the band and for the dance floor. And also renting chair covers, cause they dont provide that!!!

hello, i am new to this. my fiance and i are considering the de seversky for september 2010 for the reception not the ceremony. we are expecting 175-200 guests. has anyone experienced a european style wedding with this high # of guests? curious how seating works in the ballroom for guests, since there is not enough seating to accomodate all guests. thanks!
