Chalet Restaurant & Lounge re-opened in October 2008 with an all new modern design and ultra trendy ambiance. We are located on North Shore of Long Island inside the historic 1832 landmark building tucked away in Old Roslyn, walking distance to the LIRR. The Chalet appeals to all ages, providing a well balance American/Eclectic cuisine offered Wednesday-Saturday in the Restaurant & Lounge.
The tri-level structure features the ever famous tap room on the first floor which still maintains the historic charm loved by the local patrons. The restaurant and lounge occupy the second floor with 60 seats and the new expansive bar area. Our VIP loft space is located on the third floor and is the perfect spot for large group dinners and celebrations. The outdoor patio is open seasonally and features a new semi-private cabana, great summer dining and weekly entertainment.
With many private rooms available, we cater to private parties from 10 guests to 150. The Chalet is the perfect spot for bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners and after wedding gatherings as we are open until 2:00am. Our goal at the Chalet is to provide a fun and festive atmosphere, one that is not only warm and welcoming but also provides a great dining experience, keeping you coming back for years to come.
