I am still leaning towards no unfortunately. I just have so much going on between the wedding, moving back to NY and trying to find a new job.

Please don't cancel on my account though. If you do reschedule let me know the new date and I will do my best to make it.

Hello everyone! I can still make it Saturday although I totally wouldn't mind if we had to postpone it. I have a term paper due on Sunday so I could really use all the time I can get this weekend to work on it. I was going to use the GTG as an excuse for a little break though .
I agree with you Alison about giving Joanne a nice sendoff before she gets married. Maybe we can work with her schedule?

Allright, I need to figure this out. Given the lukewarm response, I say we cancel. I am going to call the Ritz and let them know we're not coming unless people feel strongly otherwise.

Do we want to try to reschedule for next weekend at Pentagon City??

Hey Alison, thank you for organizing everything. I think you are right, this is a really stressful time. I am for cancelling. While I would love to postpone, i believe next weekend will be really hard for me (i have only 23 days left!!!) and it sounds like others are unsure too.

Let's cancel this one. and then schedule something else. I would take on the re-scheduling, but i am not going to be here for a while

You girls will NEVER believe this!!! I called the stupid Ritz Carlton in Tyson's to cancel our tea on Saturday...and they DIDN'T HAVE THE RESERVATION!!! So I guess this was fate. Consider the tea cancelled.

Is anyone interested in going on Sat the 29th to Pentagon City instead (3 pm)? I still have that reservation (I think...). let me know.

And/or we can try to just do a little sendoff for JoRo...you work downtown, right? Ever been to Sesto Senso on 18th and Connecticut? Maybe we could have drinks or dinner there some weeknight before your wedding?

Alison, thank you, thank you, thank you, for all your hard work in organizing both GTG's. Even though this one didn't fly, I know a lot of time and effort went into the organization of it. I wish I lived closer to the bulk of you girls so that a quick meet-up for happy hour or dinner would be logistically easier, but I think it would be great if a few of you were able to convene before Jo's big day!!

Hope to see you all soon!!! I'm stressed out b/c just found out that Dave's roommate (the leaseholder of their apt) is looking to leave ASAP due to a job transfer.. so we essentially need to buy a house/condo within the next 2 months- as opposed to in 5 months!! AGHGHGH!!!

I'm a 'downtown' DC girl too and would be up for getting together after work one day soon. If the girls are up for Pentagon City next weekend, I should be able to.
