Too funny I also got a thing in the mail from PWP and was wondering exactly what you guys were. I didn't get my invitations yet and they said they give you 15% off so it might be worth checking out.

They say 14. We tried to keep it between 10-12. The tables with 12 were full and I wouldn't put more than that on it!!!

Does anyone know what you do at your 'follow up' visit with PWP? I just got a letter in the mail. Do I have to go if I already got my invitations from somewhere else and I have a florist?? What else do they discuss with you? I got really excited at first b/c I thought it had to do with my final meeting and then I remembered I still have over 5 mos to go totally getting ahead of myself!!

do I set up an appt??

I got this too. I guess you could set up an appt. see what they tell you... as long as it's free. I'm doing invitations on my own as well... I guess a meeting doesn't hurt, I haven't seent he hall in awhile!

I never met with them. I did everything on my own. I guess you could go and see if they have any good prices on stuff and see what they are about.

same thing here - we didn't use them. I got in touch with them a few times about invite pricing, but they were honest enough to tell me that i couldn't do better than what I had found online.

I used them for invitations and DOC. They were great...but I would shop around for price. Their DOC services were UNCOMPRABLE!! They made my day incredible!

Well I'm printing invitations on my own. I guess the only thing I need is picking out the linens, cakes and what not for the reception. I don't know when that is.

WOW! So soon! I guess I will get mine in July then, if they send them 3 months out! This is good, I can make my menus way in advance then if I talk to them in August or Sept.

If you're not making your own menus, I would suggest asking them to put your name and date on theirs. THey did this for us and it was a nice touch. They were nothing special though. Also, they appreciate it if you type up your vendors before hand. They just need names and phone #'s. It helps move the meeting along!

I just called the Fox Hollow beacuse I had a few questions...I dealt with Ron (who was the best) and he had called out today because he had family personal problems that he needed to attend to, but also said he may need to take a leave of absense....I'm so upset. Did anyone else know this??????

I love Ron-He was so great to work with and was very pleasant...

I just called them to ask a question about vendor/child meal prices. I asked for Ron, because he's our manager, I was put on hold for him for a while and then they came back and said he wasn't available and someone else (Susan) helped us. They didn't mention that he was out on leave or anything. Not to say that he is or isn't, but if he was, I would think they might mention it.. so just thought i'd let you know.

I also got that PWP letter- although I've never met with them. I don't live on Long Island and need to rent a car to get out there for wedding related stuff, so I haven't really bothered with them. I have found good deals on things by doing a ton of research online, so I don't know if anything they suggested would have been better. If I lived on LI, I think I would have used them- I like the idea of it being centralized, but it just didn't make sense for me.

I can't WAIT for the menu finalizing meeting- should i be expecting that in about 1-2 months? (my wedding is 9/14)

Also- ceremony flowers question- does anyone know if I'm able to give them ideas of what I want? I am really not into the tulle that they have from pedestal to pedestal.. do you think they would leave it off if I asked them? We're hoping to have the ceremony outside if that makes a difference.

Thanks!
