i don't know if this has been asked before, but where do they put the cake in the WGP? is the cake there the whole time?

Mine was there the whole time. it was near the fireplace sort of to the right of it i believe. Could you tell from my pics I sent you? I guess its hard since they are all sort of up close of the cake.

I got a letter in the mail today from PWP. They are pushing invites and their vendors and wanted me to make an appt with them. I don't need them for anything, I am done with all major vendors except invites but FH's uncle is a printer so I know where we are going for those.

However, the letter said that 'after your meeting, you will be contacted for a follow up, in which you will pick your menu, etc.' I don't have to meet them for a prelim. meeting in order to get this call, right???? I mean, they need to meet everyone, regardless of who their vendors are .... please confirm!!! I got nervous for a minute even though it makes no sense.

if someone has an allergy to a certain food or spice, does anyone know if FH will modify the menu for it? I am deathly allergic to Black Pepper and Cinnamon, and was wondering if they would be able to substitute spices

They will make whatever you need. I needed a gluten free meal for a guest and they took care of it..no problem.

I know why does it take 2 days to get a return phone call, i don't like that. Its one of the reasons I am turned off by it. I am 95% sure that is the place but you are right.....why so long to get a phone call?

Yeah, I got the same package like 2 weeks ago - weird I thought. And the one I got this week was dated March 17!!!!!

ps-still very excited, my meeting to finalize things are tuesday! yay! it getting close, things are coming off my registery too, trying not to stalk, but knowing things are coming off makes it harder!

Not sure if you had your meeting yet- but does anyone know in regards to allergies, if someone is deathly allergic to tree nuts, is there anything they can make them to guarantee it won't be contaminated??? I think something was asked previously but I can't remember, Sorry! TIA
