Sunday, May 07woodbury manor - 145/pp - BM here was VERY NICE, gave us fruit, water, food, sat us down in his office, showed us pics of his family, said he'll do whatever we want him to do...
JT - 75/pp but only b/c we're not doing a cocktail hour in a separate cocktail room and getting a garden menu; BM was helpful enough but still of course focused on the $$$. event planner is very helpful tho
will post more detailed reviews later!

Hey everyone-This has post has been sooo helpful to me and FH.
I was wondering if anyone has seen Brentwood Country Club, we have an apt. with them this coming tuesday, if anyone could give me some insight to the place that would be great.
Also the FH and I are trying to stay in Suffolk, but are having a hard time finding a reception hall that doesnt require a min of a lot of ppl (we're having about 130-150) and isn't priced crazy. Let me know if you guys can think of places to help us out.
THANKS!!!!

I got quotes from Swan Club for '08 for $95 Sat, $85 Sun before holiday eve and $75 friday + $5 pp for vienese OR + $20pp for Platinum package which is much more extravagent and if you can swing it def. worth the $$$$, but I also heard that some people got quotes for $15 for the platinum.I also just got quotes from Flowerfields for April $150 Sat, $120 Fri, May $180 Sat, $140 fri, June $190 Sat and $160 fri
All Fri 160 person guarantee
All Sat 185 person guarantee

I have Chateau La Mer booked Oct 2007. Paid $90pp + tax & grat. for a sat night. There is a chance of another wedding the same day, but they make sure that they run on different times. Also looked at Captain Bills, Bayshore. Its $95pp +tax & grat. for a sat night, but doesn't have as many things as Chateau La Mer.
Also looked at Irish Coffee Pub, East Islip. Its $95pp + tax& grat. for a sat night. Really elegant but kinda small. This was choice #2.
Can't wait to get married after all this planning!!!!!
