Prinses...
I have never veen to Vanderbilt Mansion but if its the one on the Dowling campus I think the food is supposed to be very good. Its Lovin Oven caterers who does Lands End and Flowerfield..etc and they I hear have great food. If its the Vanderbilt mansion in Huntington.. then I have no info.. I don't know any prices either. I visited Flowerfield and they gave me a CD with all of their locations and Vanderbilt mansioon looks very nice! I would have looked there but it is a little too far east than I wanted to go. Good luck at your appt! Let us all know how it goes!
Hey...I'm actually a graduate of Dowling College. It's gorgeous. When I was taking my summer classes every Saturday I would see them setting up for the Sat. evening weddings and it always looked absolutely beautiful. Now that I've been looking for reception places to have my wedding I called and asked how much it would be for an alumni and they quoted me a $110 a person. Hope that was helpful!

I just booked the Watermill yesterday and we orginally wanted June but thought it would be too much money so we asked about the day after Thanksgiving and he quoted us at $80 for that day so we actually went with June instead. We talked to Bruce.

Villa Lombardi, East Wind Estate or Venetian Yacht Club on a Sat night within that window? Any info is appreciated-Thanks!![]()
I am having my Wedding on a Sat night in May at the Estate at Eastwind. I also went to the other 2 places. In fact those were the only 3 I looked at and went with Eastwind.

Re: Hey Ladies...Let's post reception halls and there prices for 07 as we go on our search?
North Ritz ClubOct 07 $135.00 per person not including the tax and tip ¬ including the $2000 they wanted us to tip to metredee after the reception was over becasue tis a big party.if you do the math it comes to a little bit over $173.00 per person and tha twas not the full blown package. Honestly I dont think that all of my guest would fit in that room.
Floral Terrace ( which is what we booked and I absolutley love it)
Oct 07 - $ 145.00 per person including the tax and tips. this is the for the full blown package. Anything you can imagine that can be on a menu is on there. full cocktail, full viennes, cake included. You name it its there!
**They also said that is we wanted Nov. for the same Package the price would go down like $15.00.

These are the pricing I got for Sat. evening wedding in May/June 2007- premium open bar, wedding cake, add'l desserts (veiennse?)..comments are our personal view-please don't take offenseFountainhead - 115/pp+tax+tip BM Mike. great guy
VIP - 130/pp plus tax/tip 140 for June Bm Tom- very friendly. no business attitude
Greentree 120/pp plus tax/tip included everything from linens to chapel set up BM- owner-Mike-sweeetest man out there, but we don't like the fact that there's no seperate cocktail room
Marina Del Ray - BM Joe - $120/head but everything was additiional - outdoor space next to parking lot.
Glen Island - $150/pp tax tip. beautiful space
Jericho Terrace -$110/pp tax tip - limited food selection, shared common space. day time is 75/pp..
Crest Hollow- very sweet 16 set up. -$100/pp

Did you attend a wedding there? how was it, likes, dislikes, loves hates...
I have not been there for a wedding however, my FH's company had thier X-mas party there every year and every year we look foward to going. The food is great and the service is awsome. The place is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I think u will like it. I am not sure about the price range though. Good Luck. Oh there is also some nice places to take pics inside. Fireplaces, and a nice balcony that over looks the bay. I always go int he winter so I have not seen the outside.

They included tax and gratuity in your price per head? We're looking into the Vanderbilt which is also Lovin Oven. I'd love to learn of anyway to 'work the deal'.Welcome New Vendors
