You are a strong woman, I can tell just by reading your response here.... You will get thru this with flying colors. It will take a liltte time, but you will rise above this jerk and from your experiences learn and grow. Very sorry to know what your going thru. Keep on having faith in yourself and that faith will get stronger every day.

OMG, I am so sorry to hear about this!!!!!!! You're such a wonderful person and I'm glad you have the strength to rise above it and improve your life by dumping the trash and finding yourself a real man who will treat you with respect.

I was once cheated on by my ex whom I thought I had a future with, after I found out he cheated on me I decided to try to work things out with him. Big mistake, I could never trust him again, tho he wanted me back it was the best feeling in the world to tell him No.

Now I'm with a wonderful man (who had once been cheated on by his ex also) and it's so comforting to know that we will never hurt one another the way we've been hurt in the past. I know it's hard now and the pain seems unbearable, but this will just make you appreciate your true prince that much more.

I had a hard time talking to my family too, but you need not worry, they will be there for you and love you no matter what. Same as the girls on these boards, if you ever need to talk you know where to find us!!!

I just came back from my parents house and I told them everything. They were very upset about everything but they are on my side. I also called his parents and told them what happened, they were in total shock, but they understand my decision and would love to remain friends with me. As for him he keeps calling, emailing, text messaging me, nothing would change my mind.

He also sent me 100 dozens of roses today I PUT ALL OF THE in the GARBAGE IN FRONT OF HIS HOUSE so when he gets home tonight will get a nice surprise

You are brave and smart. I also think that you showed a lot of class by calling his parents. That they want to remain friends with you shows a lot of character on both of your parts.

Follow your heart. I broke off an 8-year relationship over 5 years ago. It was incredibly tough. The only thing I can tell you is that by ending it, you know the hurt will eventually go away. It will hurt a little less every day, until someday it doesn't hurt anymore. I PROMISE.

I just read through all the posts and bravo to you for having the strength to call it off. I went through ending an engagement and although it was hell, it really was worth it in the end. I would have been divorced and now remarried. So hang in there and you are so true- your prince will come
