Ladies, the more she talks, the better I feel. She sounds like an idiot, shallow and spoiled.

Something about me is obviously bothering this person. Maybe I gave an opinion about a post she had up (if she is not a newbie but changed names just for this) or she just needs to feel better about herself.

Her comments say more about her than they could ever about me.

My condolences to her betrothed.

and yet you're on a wedding website, and you have a wedding date psoted...I guess your Fh is going to run away on you, huh?

If he is, I guarantee it's not because of planning a wedding before a ring...it'll be for other reasons...

Girls, FYI (and for this person), Ron totally knows if you make a new name for yourself. He explained it to me but I am dumb and don't remember. So if you make a new screen name on the same computer or whatever - it alerts him.

Anyways Jessica - all I have to say is you are a classy lady and congrats! I can't wait for your 'engagement day' --

Why do you have to have a ring to be engaged? Plenty of people have been engaged without a ring. The ring is merely an accessory. The real engagement takes place in the heart. We have a great bunch of ladies on the '06 board and we don't need your negativity and hatred spewed here.

hmmm. my husband & I picked out a ring together I put it on as soon as we picked it up.

I wonder what that says about his love?
I thought it just said that he is a bad shopper & wanted me to have something I liked & that we don't really do surprises, b/c everything is pretty much 50/50.

I could be wrong.
I guess my almost 6 months of marriage have been a sham.

Oh well.

I am not here to ruin anyone's happiness. I am more than happy to see others happy too. I am just questioning Jessica M's FH intentions. .....Like a few people have mentioned, it is my opinion whether it is liked or not.


Are you always such a nasty person? If you don't want to ruin anyone's happiness, then I suggest you keep your catty replies to yourself. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if you want it to be taken seriously, I suggest you tone it down a notch.

As for your alter ego, you couldn't be more obvious having your first post be in defense of such a person. If you have so much time on your hands, that you can create another name and profile, you should spend it learning to be more creative and less apparent.

who says you cant plan a wedding without a ring!?! i still dont have a ring and we're getting married in 7 months! although i know FH is going to give me one one of these days i dont need a ring on my finger to say that i'm 'engaged' or to plan a wedding. and it has nothing to do with the thoughtfulness of a person or his financial means (because my FH can definitely afford a ring and he's very thoughtful! )--we just have our special circumstances.
