I usually stay out of these things, but I just wanted to throw my support to Jessica. The ring -its size, its shape, how you get it, or whether or not you even have one, has nothing to do with your FH's love for you!
My mom never got an engagement ring, they couldn't afford it. My parents just celebrated their 30th anniversary!!!

like many other brides who been on here and dont want to get involved in this drama i try to stay out of it. But when innocent people want to share their joy on a chat that was made to support oneanother that is when I feel I need to say something. this board is not to create drama yet it is to offer help to all of us who don't want drama in preparing for our wedding.

And just for the record, I don't have a ring either. FH and I have been together for 5 years, and I don't believe a diamond ring should define a relationship- it's coming, and when it gets here, I'll be very grateful, but I don't NEED it to know he loves me.

Again I thank everyone for there support- honestly I dont' really care who's 'fake' and who's not, to me, it's the way they treat people that counts. Angel2006 may be new, but she has been JUSt as supportive as everyone else and has treated everyone fairly. This is getting way out of control.
