Aww, where in Fl. are you? is the weather good? I am going for the long weekend on April 5th for my B-day. My B-day is March 31st but it was cheaper the weekend after to go to Miami. =)

I'm in Orlando. The weather has been ok, a little cool today. It's only about 60 today. We are heading to Miami this weekend for the Music Conference. I love Miami, it reminds me of a tropical version of NY.

My cousin's live in Miami.

I actually got engaged at the Royal Pacific in Universal, Orlando. I need to redo my website & edit it, but if you go to my website you can read how he did it. I have to say he did a good job surprising me lol.

We live around the corner from Universal and the Royal Pacific is one of our favorite hotels!!! The food is amazing there. His mom stays there sometimes when she comes to visit. I will go in and read how he did it now. We actually got engaged in Epcot Center after the Illuminations fireworks on Valentine's Day last year.

I just had to vent my place card holder frames that I ordered just got to my mother's house and half of them are broken, the other half were wet as if they were rained on! I can't see them so I will just have to take her word that they are all ruined!!!

OMG that is horrible. Can you or your mom call the place you ordered them from & tell them that you will return what came damaged & you want them to send a replacement on the # of items damaged. Tell them you are not paying for the shipping cost to return & for your inconvenience you want a discount off the original price you paid.

If they give you any problem ask to speak with a manager. I used to work in retail. Don't give in if they don't want to work with you tell the manager you would never use this company again & you will not give them any referrals about them to other brides you know. They should work with you once you say that.

Hopefully once you tell them what happened they offer to give you a discount. Tell me what happens.

Sorry that your card holders got ruined! I think they should replace them free though considering they were delivered damaged.

I know you're probably getting sick of seeing my wedding pictures but I have some more non professional ones that my MoH and her BF took..again they're on Flickr.

We also picked up our proofs from Tony Ferrari yesterday- we'll be looking at them over the weekend and hopefully I'll get to scan some as well.

By the way ladies here's a pic of the chest that we had gotten from Russo's - FH went and took out all the goodies before I can take a pic of it filled up with just about all sorts of good things like wine, cheese, crackers, apples, nuts, olives, and chocolate. It now has a place of honor in the living room as you can see.

Hi all,

Welcome to all the new girls. Sorry I have been MIA but I feel like I have had so much to do. I want to try and answer all the questions that I have missed. First off Congrats to all the girls who have gotten married in the passed couple of weeks. I actually had my tasting at Russos a couple of weeks ago. It was great, make sure you go hungry. Also the lights go out at one point but it is only becaue they are opening the vianeese (or however you spell it) hour to one of the parties going on that night. I had Luis for my waiter and he was absolutely wonderful and answered all of our questions.
AS for vendors I am using:
DJ-CLassie Sounds
Florist- Russos inhouse decorator Adriana
Video/Photog - Romeos (They are in Staten Island). We are getting both a photojournalist photographer and traditional. I met with some of Russos vendors and liked them the best. I have been in a wedding where Riccardo was the Photo (not Video). If you want details fm me.

Limo - not sure yet but will prob just go with Designer Limos
Hair/makeup- not sure yet

AS for my dress I also bought a Pronovias. Pictures are in my album under My Dress, not sure how to post on here. I absolutely loved the service I got there and they where all so so so nice.IT was so much fun. I can not wait to go back in October for my first fitting. Samantha was my Bridal rep and she was amazing. Plus the other girls who worked there where so friendly and helpful.

Right now I am working on my STD (they would have been out already if my mother would ever give me her guest list.). Also going over to JFK to check out the hotels. I am so worried about how much the shuttle will cost. I am sure I will have close to100 people staying there and that means I would need 4 shuttles at $250 each, ouch. I was thinking of maybe contacting bus companies and seeing how much they would charge. My friend had a coach bus shuttleing people for hers and I think she might have paid only $700, not sure though.

Hopefully tomorrow I will go shopping for my bridesmaid dresses.
