One month from today for me!! All of my rsvp's are still not returned. Villa Lombardi's has not called me to do menu's yet--am I supposed to call them?
I have so many small things to do--wrap my favors, wrap my bridal party gifts, meet w/ priest and music for church, programs... And I start my second semester of grad school this month!

Yeah, the same goes for my MOH & best man!

I asked my MOH via email last night if she made her flight reservtion, so hopefully this will jog her memroy. people have told me that maybe she thinks she doesn't need to , but I sent mine in for hers--she had a meal choice on hers though.

That doesn't bother too much, b/c I know she is coming, I need the outskirt people to respond, so I can do the tables!

i called my hall to set up an appointment before the had a chance to call me i think. i was supposed to go next week, but we changed it until the week after.

my responses are coming in slowly now. i have a little under half of them and i sent them out a week and a half ago.

i hope that some more people start saying no, or are coming without guests. i know it sounds terrible, but i really want to stay at my minimum.

we finally figured out what we are going to do for the few days after the wedding. we aren't going on a big honeymoon right away because i will be in school.

we are going here...it is near new hope, pa

it tooks us forever to finally decide, we didn't want to break the bank, but we wanted to go somewhere.

we were looking up stuff to do there and there's lots of cute stuff. they even have 2 breweries. one of them has an awesome website.

I knew I'd be going back to school but I didnt realized Id have to take 2 classes nor did I realized they couldnt be taken online as they had told me they could. *sigh*

i feel like i am forgetting so much stuff. i'm not sure what, but i just feel like it.

i have so much going on right now...

fitting on the 9th

hopefully having a make-up tiral on the 11th
i am working on my placecards

need to start
out of town bags
tieing the bows and tags on the favors
programs
seating arrangements

we are closing on our house on wednesday, so then we have tons of house stuff to do on top of wedding stuff so that we can move in after the wedding. i think the house is the most overwhelming part for me right now. i want to get in there, know what we have to do, instead of guessing about it, and then get it done.

I have to: get the marriage license, do the place cards, parents gifts, finish GM/BM's gifts, figure out the menu situation

Got my marriage license yesterday!!! Yeah!!! Actually it was so simple. It took like 15 minutes. I was dumbfounded!

I am getting more excited with each wedding detail that we are accomplishing. This past week we finalized the menu, picked out our flowers at Burtons, I picked out the undergarments, made an appointment for the first fitting and got food for the out of town treat bags. Next week we are planning to go to get our Marriage License. Tonight was my FH's Bachelor Party. The guys surprised him with a luxury box at the Phillies' Stadium at their game against the Mets. They are also staying overnight in Philly and he is staying in a Presidential suite. I talked to him and he was having so much fun and was so surprised!

Kel, I would definitely call Villa Lombardi's ASAP. I hear the reception halls are supposed to call you to set something up but I don't know if that is the general policy for each hall. It will help to go as early as possible because they will give you a seating chart that you will need to fill out and they will need it soon, so it will give you more time to take care of it.

Speaking of seating plans, it makes me think of my own RSVP situation too. There are people who we are definitely not sure about and of course those are the ones that have not responded yet. Likely they will be the ones who respond at the last minute or we will have to make some phone calls. I will feel a lot better when everyone is accounted and I can see if I make my minimum or do I need to invite more people. It seems with the people we are not sure about it could go that we are either a few over or a few below.
