I used a card stock paper that I got at Office Max. I'm giving our parents albums with our name and date on them (from Exclusively weddings) and these frames with an 8x10 engagement pic of us. The frames are Lenox

Ok so tomorrow is my RSVP date and I am missing 50-- YES 50!! responses. I just called and yelled at my brother, who said you know I am coming. FH's uncle told FFIL that we knew he was coming, to which he replied they are prepaid postage you cheapass send the card in. I can't believe people!!!

oh...and i am now a homeowner. my fi and our best man ripped out all the carpets tonight. i can't wait to get the floors done. doing that and some paint will make the biggest difference in the world.

It must be exciting owning a house. I'm in love with my apartment because I consider it mine but to actually own a house, that's neat. I wish you lots of luck.

This is not really wedding related but FH and I went last night to pay the balance on our new couches, we get them delivered to the apartment on Saturday. Finally people will be able to come over and not sit on folding chairs.

As for wedding plans...RSVPs are still coming in, my girls and I have our fittings next week, I can't wait to see my dress again. I miss it

awesome about the couches...i want couches, but we are going to have to wait on them at least for a little bit. people just might have to bring their own when they come over.

I'm in the same boat- tomorrow is mine and I have only received only about 1/2 responses! I just don't understand how hard it can be to either say yes or no with prepaid postage! I'm really thinking about sending out cards to people who don't respond by next week saying that we regret that you will be unable to attend! Oh I wish I could do that!!! So rude right! but what else to do- shucks I've already made my minimum and all the people who I really, really want there have already responded! This is truly the annoying part

My wedding is 3 weeks from tomorrow and I am still waiting on about 20 invitation RSVP's (about 30-40 people). Phone calls start this weekend.

I picked up my tiara last night. That was fun.

We still need to:
•get marriage certificate
•lots of meetings
•finish favors
•make programs
•get parents gifts
•final fitting!
•seating arrangement (waiting on those darn rsvps)

Had my 2nd fitting yesterday!!! Everything was great.... she's still has to do some minor tweaking here and there because I lost a little more weight in my BOOBS of all places!! Yay! Now I'm not so worried about my cleavage! And she's gotta do the bustle.

things with the wedding have pretty much slowed down a lot.

i went for my second fitting, my dress just needs the hem, and a little tuck under the arm, and a bustle. it really fits pretty well.

the house right now has been consuming most of our time. once we get a little more done we will have to set aside some time for wedding stuff.

we still need to do favors and programs, but we will get some friends over and it will be fine.

i just can't believe how fast it is all going.

My wedding is 10/8 and the bridesmaid dresses came in in the wrong color. The dresses just came in two weeks ago and I went to see them yesterday and they are severely the wrong color. Both Lydia's bridal and myself ordered the correct color, I have no idea what the manufacturer was working off of, but my problem is why Lydia's didn't check the dresses when they came in. now the biggest problems are going to be getting new jr dresses. Lydia's doesn't do jr dresses so we bought them elsewhere working off the original color, and we also have to get new ties/vests for the guys. Lydia's told me there is probably nothing they can do. but I want to make them accountable for the mistake they made. i don't know if they can order two more dresses in the smallest size they have and make lydia's alter them to fit my two juniors - one is 12 and one is 7. i'm just beside myself, it's a good thing i haven't ordered my flowers yet. my color was supposed to be burgundy and they are now a eggplant/wine color. anyone else have this happen, it's too late to go anywhere else.

Girls -- I think I'm really starting to lose it!!

This week I 'lost' our MARRIAGE LICENSE.

Luckily I found it after it being 'missing' for 3 days (it was in my planning binder all along).

I completely FORGOT about getting our Baptismal certificates and just called our churches in a panic! The church where I was baptised closed a long time ago and one priest told me that the priest there was not supposed to be performing baptisms so mine was 'illegitimate'. So, after thinking that all these years I was never really a Catholic and starting to panic that I was not going to be able to get married by the church, I called another church who is supposed to have my records. We'll see how THAT goes....

And I 'FORGOT' about my 2nd DRESS FITTING! I remembered the MORNING of on my way to work... good thing I had everything in my car already but it was already too late to get my MOH there so now I have to go again so she can learn the bustle!

Girls I am falling apart!!

And the worst part is.... all I can do is LAUGH about it!!

27 DAYS TO GO AND I AM A SCATTER-BRAINED BRIDE!

i am waiting to fall apart...there's too much going on right now, and i think that i am just on overdrive.

we spent the entire weekend working on our house. it was fun, but pretty overwhelming.

i still have a bunch of wedding stuff to do, and i am waiting for some more 'no' responses. or for those that are coming without guests.

we are going to pick our menu tomorrow night, and then we have dancing lessons. that should be fun for us

Okay girls, I started grad school last week and I am totally overwhelmed!!! You're posts are making me fell normal though!!!

With 46 days left we...

just finished our music stuff to send to the band

finished the video stuff to send to the videographer

have an appt. to go over flowers on Sat.

Had my first hair & m/u trial and 2nd fitting (yes there are pics, but I don't have them with me)

we got our passports!!!

I still need to do:
programs
favors
petal cones
marriage license
order pumpkins
order candy apples
guys need to get measured for tuxes
finalize HM
parent and BP gifts
and so much more!
