Would love to since I had to miss out on last one b/c of my BIL in the hospital. Who wants to plan it & where? I am really lookg forward to finally getting to meet ppl in person!

I was against it too until my OOT guests stated they would take vacation and come to my wedding. I have more people saying they can't believe I am doing it that they will come from all over the world. In my 20s and 30s I said I would never get marry, but this is crazy.

I cant tell you how happy I am for you & that you found 'the one.' If you dont mind me parting a few bits of wisdom (so to speak):

I never thought I would get married either...not that I didnt want to or from lack of trying, but once I got into my mid 30's & had met a wonderful, loving man whose heart had been so badly singed from a prior marriage - I had come to accept the fact that I could be happy living with this man fo the rest of my life w/out marriage, or I could try to chase after something that I knew wasnt going to pale in comparison to this man. So I followed my heart and sure enough the man who said would never marry again asked me for his hand last Christmas and now we are husband & wife. They say fairy tales dont come true - they dont exist...but I beg to differ - because mine came true the moment we both said 'I do.'

Sorry for rambling, guess your post just made me feel sentimental. I am so happy for you & really looking forward to finally meeting you at the next GTG!

I'd love to do another one too! I might not be able to make one till after the new year though. 5 weeks till the wedding and moving into the new house at some point (I guess AFTER I pack up my apartment). Plus, we'll be on our HM until December 7.

I can't believe how quickly the time is going - I really do need someone to slow things down a bit.

It's all coming together but I don't feel 'ready' yet. I'm picking up my favors today, then going to the new house to get the keys. This weekend is going to be spent cleaning the new house and then the next couple of weekends are all wedding-related. I still have at least one more fitting (next one is on Halloween), my mom doesn't have shoes yet, the BM dresses just came in the other day, still haven't figured out my hair, I need to arrange for shuttles to and from the hotel/RH, meeting with music director at the church on Sunday, FH and I still haven't picked songs for the reception, I still have to make OOT gift bags and put together my favors....

Oh yeah and we're still missing like 50 RSVPs!!! So those phone calls have to continue!

It will all work out though and in 38 days I'll be in Hawaii

We can have a gtg at your new house Gina and help make the OOT bage and favors. It can be a pizza gtg.

Ladies, I think I finally found flowers I like. What do you think. I'm not haveing a BP just me and FH needs flowers. Would thses work for CP too. Tell the truth I can take it.
