I can't believe it either - I'm already missing the wedding planning stages!

I'm trying to get as much done as possible now since work is making me crazy (I think it finally dawned on them that I'm going away for almost a month) AND we still have to move into the new house.

The house is beginning to show signs of progress too - the floors received the last coat of poly today so hopefully by Monday we can go back in again (we can't get in the house without walking on the wood floors)!

Okay ladies, here I go again with my issues. I am up to invites. Remember I have a big family. So since I have people I have to send who will not come but may send a gift and many family members I have to send because it the right thing to do. I am order two set of invites. The first one I have order are for the people I really want there and they will like the invites. The other inexpensive are for those, who I have issues with.

My brain fells they will ask each did you get the invite and it pretty, but not did you get the one with ....

Okay ladies tell me what you think and it's okay to tell me I am wrong. It's not the first time I have heard it.

Okay the first one won't post. I will put both in mt album.

That's just it. FL is not going to say to CT or OHIO did you get the folded invite. They are just going to say did you get Renay's invite and it was pretty. My Aunt who is in her 80s will not have the same talk with someone in their 30s. For my youngest sister wedding which was 14 yrs old she made them herself and send out four different designs and no one said boo.

Yes, my family is all about drama, but 300 invites is not one of them. It more do I have to spend money to come and who is giving a gift. That's drama.

I think they're both lovely & a nice choice either way you go...but I'd have to agree w/ Celia - I think it best to send just 1 style. Believe me I had the same feelings you did - but it was just much easier to send 1 type of invitation than to start mixing things up...JMHO

Renay- I had 2 different invites too. I ran out of my original invite (duh) and it was really expensive to buy only 25 more, so I bought another kind that was similar but not as costly. I sent the second one out to OOTers who wouldn't have any communication with LI guests. No one said anything...so I say go for it if it saves you money. Just bring both on your day and make sure your photog gets pics of both of the ones you use

Oh, ladies I forgot to say. in the first invite around the border where our name will be ihe color is red. So it will still have the red, white, and black.
