I know - I can't believe it's so close!!

There's so much running around to do it's making me a little nutty. My advice to you all is to take more than 3 days off before the wedding if you can. I have a super-stressful job to begin with and it's just out of control right now. They're in a panic because I'm going to be out for a month.


My last day at work is Tuesday, and I feel like all next week I don't have a moment to breathe. Monday afternoon at lunch it's bank time for a certified check because that night I have to drop all my stuff off at the RH and finish paying them. Tuesday is my last day at work so I have no idea what time I'll get out of there. Wed I have a waxing appointment and a facial at Bliss in NYC, Thursday I have to drop the gift bags off at the hotel, I have an eyebrow wax appointment here on LI, then I have my final florist appointment to pay them and see and approve the centerpieces, then it's off to pick up my dress ( ). Friday it's pick my dad and stepmom up at the airport, go get dad's tux, mani/pedi, pack for Friday night at my mom's house, Saturday night at the hotel and then pack for the HM.

I'm trying to get as much as possible done in advance but most of this stuff can't be done in advance.

Xanax is my new best friend.

Ok girls- I dont know why but I am officially stressing out. I am still not getting married for about 10 months or so and I am stressing on if I am going to fit in my dress, about HM flights, which wine for favors, money- everything. With the HM flight I am stressing on if I should book through the airline itself or through orbitz, or call up carnival cruise to book for me or if I should go back to the travel agent who I really didnt like.( i know I am crazy)
I have been totally freaking all day and driving Jerry nuts.
But you know he is so cute and this is why I love him so much. I called him this afternoon (after talking to him about 15 times today stressing) and I apologized for freaking out and he told me its ok and I can freak out as much as I need to but he knows our wedding will be beautiful and perfect. He also added I know your a worry wort and thats one of the reasons you are so perfect for me- one of us has to do the worrying.

Any way- i just need to talk to people who would understand. Cause my friends think I am just plain nuts

Re the flight, when I've cruised, I generally find that the easiest approach is to just let the cruise line book the flight. When DH and I took a Carnival cruise a few years ago, they did give us any price adjustments when the rate changed in our favor. We just called periodically to see if the rate had gone down and to request the credit.

What wines are you thinking of for favors? Is the dilemma which variety (chardonnay, merlot, etc.) or which vintner?

As for the dress, you will look absolutely stunning!

The thing with the dress is when I ordered it I was thinner than when I picked it up. I couldnt fit into it when I got it. I am trying to loose weight and I am finding it so hard.
The wine- I am not sure if we want red, white, rose or a mix of all three. I did find a bottle of Rose- Matus- that I loved the shape of the bottle, but I am not sure.
and the flights with the cruise.... i booked the cruise through a travel agent so do I have to go through them for the flights or can I deal directley with Carnival? And can I call Carnival directly about the rates going down?

Celia - we don't think you're nuts. Trust me - I was worrying about all that stuff 10 months ago too. I understand.

First, the flights. Either book it yourself or go through the cruiseline. My Travel Agent (who I LOVE!!) tells me all the time that she can't get deals on flights - no TA can. Also, TA's no longer get commissions from the airlines when they book flights so sometimes they quote a higher price because they charge a 'fee' for getting you your airfare. I use my TA for everything except my flights and it's at her suggestion. I hope I helped you out with that one.

The dress thing will all work out. I was struggling to lose weight too and the last couple of weeks without even trying I'm losing weight. I have another fitting on Saturday because of it. It's just the last minute stress. Don't worry your dress will fit.

The wine - I can't help you with - sorry. I always have a difficult time making decisions - especially lately.

Gina- thank you- i think I will book the flights through Carnival.
i know the dress will fit-but this week I gain an half a pound and it just freaked me out.(lately i am freaking more than ever )

My birthday is actually Tuesday but FH and I are going to see Rock of Ages tomorrow and going out for a nice dinner in the city.
and on Sunday i am celebrating with FMIL because her b'day is 2 days after mine.
